We were staying at the nearby Fairway Lakes Village and decided to give Caldecott Hotel restaurant a try. Even though it was blowing a gale, freezing and in mid February we were welcomed like friends, given a heater to warm us up and apologised to profusely at the (entirely understandable given the circumstances) lack of dishes available from the menu....

My wife and I dined at the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, from the moment we stepped through the door the experience could not have been bettered. We arrived slightly early and we were greeted immediately by Brenda [the manageress]. The decor was pleasant and warm and low and behold there was no cutlery on napkins on a sticky table...

We booked our wedding last year, for a small intermit family wedding with an evening reception for extended family and friends to come and share our celebrations. At the start of this year we contacted the hotel to start finalising our plans we had discussed when we made the booking. To our horror we found the hotel had been taken...

We've just spent a wonderful weekend at Caldecott Hotel. A lovely old house set in the middle of a large, rural parkland estate and surrounded by a well kept and colourful garden area. The estate also includes 2 golf courses (1 a par 3 course) and a spa and fitness centre, all separate from the hotel itself. We were given...

Booked Caldecott hotel back in April for a two night stay in August we booked two rooms for two nights which cost £300.00 so it wasn't really cheap, but we liked the look of the place so we were prepared to pay it. Some weeks later i got a phone call from booking.com to say that we would have to...

Just this weekend, me and my husband had our wedding reception at Caldecott hall. Last year we decided to book Caldecott Hall as it plays big part in my childhood memories. We went to Caldecott and was greeted by a lady who made false promises etc. When I heard the news that she had taken all the brides deposits and...

Attended a wedding reception here at the weekend. Had an absolutely wonderful time thanks to Mike, Emily and gang! From the moment we arrived and had Pimms outside the hotel to the end of the evening we were thoroughly looked after. Mike was always around if we needed him, but never got in the way! And Brian the toastmaster was...

We booked this venue last year, before the current owner, Mike, took over. After being left in the lurch and with my bride to be in tears we found that the property had been taken over by Mike. We cannot speak highly enough of Mike and his team at Caldecott Hall Hotel. Beccie and Emily took over our wedding reception...

From driving up the gravel drive we were greeted by the owner Mike who made us feel welcome from the onset and even offered to carry our bags in. Walking upto the house itself we noticed how well maintained and manicured the gardens were which is a credit to Mike's gardening team. We went to the reception area where after...

“Room number four is very quiet, although all rooms probably are due to the tranquil location!”

“We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was the best, checked out all the others and would be happy with any of them if I were staying here. We didn't use the spa as we had no spare time.”
