Minetta and I had an absolutely wonderful two weeks within Buliban Cottage, Malin Head. Mary was a wonderful host and made sure that our stay was just perfect. We were in the middle of moving house and the two weeks of rest and relaxation was made all that better with wonderful weather and an excellent host. Mary even served us...

Well I am just back after spending 2 nights in the Whitestrand B&B and 5 Nights in Portmor Cottage and I have to say that Mary was a Fantastic Host she was like an Aunt that was fussing over you cause she has not seen you in so long, when I arrived last Saturday evening I was greeted by a...

Wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, warm scones, porridge. Even the water tasted great! Very clean, large room. Quiet location. No views from B&B (though the lambs next door were sweet), but breathtaking ocean views 2 minutes' drive away. Proprietor extremely hospitable. Add to this, least expensive B&B I stayed at in Ireland!

Mary Houghton has made her B&B into a warm, welcoming home. The rooms are large and comfortable with beautiful views of Malin Head. I love going for a walk along the beach and then up through the farms, talking to the sheep, cows and horses. Breakfast is individual and yummy.

On behalf of my 89 year old mother visiting the place of her childhood. Mary could not have been more accommodating attending to every need and some! A lovely place to take a break and enjoy this beautiful part of Donegal. Choice of eggs (including duck)for breakfast and full Irish is highly recommended B&B only but Mary offered afternoon home...

The place is truly amazing but what makes it like haven is how welcoming and caring Mary is. From the moment we got there till we left she went above and beyond to make our staying great. We staid there only one night and we regret we didn't stay longer.

Just back from an amazing stay in Malin Head. Mary was so helpful from the start, giving us lots of information and even having milk in the fridge for us, after a 4 hour drive it was the little things that help. The cottage is beautiful, the outdoor area is amazing. Even though it was March, we insisted on trying...

We stayed two nights for a wedding. Mary and James went above and beyond whilst looking after us...including arranging to return our trainers though a network of friends and family! If you're not pushed for time when you arrive... Switch off your GPS… And get lost… It's worth every moment bumbling around the headland. Thanks Mary and James!

Loved it. Awesome location... Highly Recommended. Mary and the Management did all to make us feel at home. Our Comfort and Ease was prime.. A nice warm cozy place to be in... Wish it was not so far from home (India), Else would be there every 6 months...
