A lovely location with friendly staff but we booked specifically due to the marketing with respect to the seafood trail. There were only a few uninspiring fishy dishes - fish n chips, a fish pie and the sea bass - all of which I could have got in my local pub!! Dinner was served in a dark room at the...

Beautiful Lochside location. Our loch view room was large and included a comfortable couch. The bathroom had a bath. Dinner in the bistro was reasonably priced, large servings and good quality. Breakfast was fairly standard but the smoked salmon was delicious.

Lovely hotel on the shore of Loch Fyne, with absolutely stunning views from my window. Friendly staff 2 dinners and 3 breakfasts in the dining room, all excellent especially the seafood. Room very roomy and comfortable, with good wifi in the room. Comfortable lounge room, also with superb view through a large picture window, for pre dinner drinks or after-...

This is a beautifully located inn on the east side of loch fyne. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The superior room we had was very spacious with magnificent views through a large picture window. The bathroom was modern with a large bath and the bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast is taken in the restaurant overlooking the loch and...

We stayed here overnight recently whilst visiting Argyll. The hotel sits in a stunning location, right by the side of Loch Fyne. We received a very warm welcome from all of the staff, our room was lovely and spacious, and the view from our window was just breathtaking. We had a very good dinner in the hotel restaurant, and an...

We stopped off for lunch on a glorious sunny day. What a beautiful spot over looking Loch Fyne. We were impressed with the menu which was both wide and appeared to be based on local produce in the main. I chose local scallops which were well cooked if rather salty. The three scallops were rather lonely on the plate with...

Firstly the location. Lovely views and a little beach right outside the front door. Gorgeous and just as described. From here on the hotel is a bit disappointing. We chose it because it promised us dog friendly accommodation and great food but found it lacking on both counts. The food on the whole was tasty enough but portions were stingy....

Stopped off here a few times for a drink whilst out and about. Today we had dinner. They start serving at 6pm and I suggest you book first, we were lucky to get a table without a booking and people who arrived after us were turned away. Very friendly service and the food was delicious.

We have stayed a few times before and as a result decided to spend our special Birthday weekend here. Unfortunately, we wish we had gone elsewhere. Our rooms were lovely overlooking the loch as requested but I was a little disappointed that as they knew we were celebrating two Birthdays there was no recognition of this. (Other hotels offer an...
