Our trip to North Wales was made fantastic by staying at Llanfiarfchen, and even more fantastic by staying at a guest house which we booked week in advance. This guest house is called Rhiwiau...and it is the most beautifully located place in Gods country. Ruth, our host is the most talented cook that we have come across...and believe me, It's...

Stayed here with family and girlfriend due to proximity to Zip World (and extensive research by Dad). What an amazing place. Everything you could need in a b&b. Even recommended an Indian takeaway and provided plates to eat it from on return. (Ruth's evening meals are fantastic too!!) Ruth is an exceptional host! Highly recommended.

Spent a night here with a girlfriend (BFF nothing more than that!) due to its close proximity to Zip World! Whilst I totally agree it was a beautiful location with stunning views of the countryside and lots of sheep (!) we found the venue to be too remote. Our host, Ruth was lovely and made the stay both comfortable and...

Thank you very much for you review and lovely comments. I am really sorry, I must have failed to tell you that we have 2 local taxis who often pick up our guests from the local pubs only 5 minutes drive away and that we have an alcoholic drinks licence and would have been happy to serve you drinks at...

We booked into the cosy family suite for 4 nights in August and loved absolutely every second of our stay. Ruth greeted us with a big smile as soon as we got out of our car and showed us to our quarters. Double room, twin room, bathroom plus separate cloakroom and a little sitting room. Everything that you could possibly...

We booked last minute and so glad we did. My partner, daughter and myself were welcomed by Ruth and shown to our very clean and tidy room. A complementary cup of tea and some homemade cake helped us settle in nicely. Lovely and quiet with excellent en suit facilities that were extremely clean and tidy - comfy beds. Breakfast was...

Very enjoyable break, Ruth is an excellent host, she has extensive local knowledge and finds just the right way to pass this on. The view is fab and there are several outside terraces with seating to enjoy. Breakfast was lovely and varied and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are very spacious with seating areas. We were not sure...

Spent 1 night here after getting off the ferry at Holyhead. The B&B is a mile or so off the A55 and some of the road is single track but it is very quiet so shouldn't have much trouble with oncoming traffic. Once you get there, Ruth is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and look recently refurbished....
