Keep in mind that Mexican Campgrounds are NOT like campgrounds you would find in Canada or the US. This one is very good (by Mexican standards) made so largely due to Jose who is the front man in the park. He speaks excellent English and is extremely helpful, he get's 5 stars for sure. The shower facilities for the RV...

We stayed here for a long weekend. It is basically a parking lot. But the price was right. It was clean and well maintained. Bad part was a large group. was having a loud party til about 4 am. Security would not help at all. So needless to say we did not get any sleep that night. we complained in...

We stayed in room #2 for a week and a half. The room was a comfortable and clean suite. Every morning we heard birds singing and we saw beautiful red birds(cardinals) out the kitchen window. José in the front office was extremely helpful. The laundry room was clean, spacious, and had properly functioning machines. The pool, although small, was a...

The best RV park in San Carlos, if not Mexico, though it was a first! Very clean, ok Internet, friendly campers, staff, and Joe the owner. No tables, but backing in correctly provided a concrete pad above dirt and sand. Internet flaky at times, water pressure low but drinkable with slight chlorine taste. Free cable with main Tucson channels. Dog...

There only one RV park off Highway 15D from Nogales to Mazatlan in Mexico. It is the Totonaka in Carlos, Sonora. Even without competition it is a very good one comparable to any we've stayed at in the USA. We give it at least Four Stars and maybe a little bit more. Teh location is the best for ocean living near...

Great RV park with a cobblestone street with gravel lots. A cement patio pad in each spot ( some in better shape than others ) but no picnic table. There are plenty of trees and blooming bushes and cacti. The facilities are clean as are the motel rooms surrounding the property. These rooms are as shown on the website. The...

We recently stayed at this RV Park and practically had it to ourselves. This is because it's the end of the 'tourist season' and they've all gone north. It was getting hot. However the staff were very friendly and helpful. There's some shade. The toilets and showers, while basic, were always very clean. Wifi was good. The beach is just...

We stayed at Totonaka RV park two times this last winter. Very helpful people. Nice Pool and Hot Tub. Has an owner that lives in the park and he is very accommodating as were all the staff. Would go back again!

One of the gems. The park is maintained to a standard higher than many in the US. An on site owner who strives to make his guests happy and comfortable. Clean and safe. The owner and desk staff are like having a concierge service. Anything you need, ask and they will do their best to help you.

Totonaka RV advertises itself as "your friendly and safe" RV park in Mexico...and we must agree. Very friendly and comfortable, no issues with unwanted vendors or non-residents, so we felt both comfortable and safe. The park also has some motel-like guest rooms, some of which were being remodeled while we were there. We did NOT inspect them, so cannot report...

“Well we have the best room for the next 2 months. That's room 24, which has a full kitchen. But if all you need is a microwave and mini fridge, then 25 and 26 are excellent choices as well. But Joseph does have some newly renovated room as well. That would be room s 20 and 21. 20 has a full kitchen and there is an adjoining door between 20 and 21 if you have a large group.”
