This was my third trip to the hacienda and I will definitely be returning! It is absolutely beautiful with a fabulous staff of local people who are beginning to feel like family! The rooms are all different and charming. All are a good size with some being "palatial"! There is a fireplace in each and this time I even had...

I stayed at Hacienda Las Trancas last year, and let me say, it is an absolutely wonderful location to visit, a real Mexican oasis. My first visit was for a photographic workshop a few years ago and I fell in love with the hacienda. I later arranged a family gathering there, so I could share its beauty with the rest...

This review is long overdue. My wife and I had our wedding at the Hacienda Oct. 2011 and stayed a week. We found the location online and the place is absolutely amazing. The food is unbelievably good, the staff is incredibly accommodating and the setting is relaxing. The staff go above and beyond to make the stay memorable. We traveled...

My family and I stayed at the Hacienda for one week. My brother had his wedding at the Hacienda. I have to admit I was hesitant to go because of everything you hear, but I'm glad I got to experience it. The Hacienda is so beautiful. The old architecture is amazing. At the Hacienda we felt like royalty. The entire...

We had a wonderful stay at the Hacienda. We live in Mexico City and were looking for an escape with our 3 kids (5, 2 and 6 months old). We loved it right away when we entered the pueblo and saw the Hacienda on the main place which is still unpaved and kept its rural charm. The owners were not...

We took our family to Hacienda Las Trancas for Spring Break this year. That is 2 grandparents, 8 couples, 7 children between the ages of 11 and 5 and one infant. This is our third wonderful experience there. Upon arrival we were greeted, as usual, by the wonderful, helpful staff, that we now consider family. The suites are unparalleled as...

We spent a beautiful few days at Hacienda las Trancas. The peace and quiet were priceless, the food was truly wonderful, even for picky raw food people like us. The room was spacious and had such beautiful light and the courtyard and gardens are colorful and kept very neat. Sra Yolanda, la madre de la cocina, has a smile on...

Wow! I hardly know where to begin. Hacienda Las Trancas is a magical place where everything -- the beautiful setting, the huge wonderfully appointed rooms, the amazing authentic food, the extensive amenities, the hot stone massages, the day trips and most of all the incredibly warm and efficient and wonderful staff --comes together for a truly special week. Susana, Rocio,...

When we first visited in 2007, we walked into a dream. I'll never forget turning onto the road at Las Trancas and the feeling I got when the pavement ended and we pulled into the plaza and up to the door of the hacienda – a little apprehension at the lack of a grand entrance mixed with the excitement of...
