We booked this hotel through TripAdvisor and that worked well. It is a great location a few steps from the square. The rooms were clean and decent and ours was large. The only thing is you MUST like bells - they go all night long. Fortunately, my husband and I have noise cancelling headphones!

Nice hotel that is very well located. Just 100 feet from the main plaza and Church.Done in a Mexican style Hacienda, the rooms are large with high celings. No restaurant on premise. Only negative is the Church bells a ringing every hour or so.

I actually stayed here twice. The first time I came in for a off-site business trip and really enjoyed my stay so I decided to come back the following weekend with my family. The hotel is located about half a block from the main square. Really can't beat the location. The two rooms that I stayed in were both great....

We stayed at La Morada Hotel due to its proximity to the church where our family wedding was to take place. This was our first visit to San Miguel de Allende, hopefully not our last as it is a beautiful historic city. Our hotel was wonderful, staff was very cordial especially Jaime the desk manager. They had staff at the...

They have such good Mexican style inside the building, plus, rooms seems to be all big enough to enjoy with family of your partner, very big room I got when in there, and a remarkable view from there to main church and close to everything, you really have to try it!!!

We were staying in Guanajuato for an extended period of time, and did a few overnights in San Miguel. Both times we stayed at this hotel....steps from the jardin, pretty, modern, and clean rooms, and super kind staff. One day we got soaked in a rain storm, and they ran out with umbrellas to usher us in, and then dried...

So nice and spacious. Location was within steps away from cathedral., and downtown area. Staff was nice and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely come back. Grounds are clean and beautiful. Great value for your money. You won't regret staying here.

Our room (#11) at La Morada was very unique. It was at the top of the hotel with a terrific skylight over the bed with a pierced metal lighting fixture hanging down in the middle of it. There was also a skylight in the bathroom and another in the small sitting area to the side of the bed. Besides skylights,...

We stayed at La Morada at our recent trip to San Miguel de Allende. The hotel is walking distance (almost next door) to the main church. The rooms look very Mexican and the new section is great to stay and very comfortable. The only bad thing is if you don't like to hear the bells in the morning and if...

We stay for 3 nights. Outstanding room. Beautiful loft (#5). Very beautiful rustic construction, dome like exposed brick ceiling. Bathroom with jacuzzi. Room with a balcony in the ground floor to the street. Half bathroom on ground floor. Most importantly, Jaime, at the front desk, first class service. Any and every request was met with high quality service. He arranged...
