This is really a very nice historic building with very individual rooms. Unfortunately we did not know that you do not get a breakfast or even a coffee or tea there, which is rather ununsual for a "hotel". I did not expect a lot, but at least a Coffee machine would have been something. There is free parking, but you...

We spent five nights in a Deluxe Suite at the very back of the property. We normally stay in Airbnbs, but this place ended up being more affordable than many around SMA. The room was comfortable and charming, if a little shabby in minor ways (broken lamp, stained throw pillow). The water was hot and water pressure was great, the...

When we arrived at the hotel we were initially very happy with out room. We had booked a Jr. Suite so that we could enjoy a larger room and a tub. The room was divided over three floors and there was indeed a tub, but unfortunately no hot water. It took a few hours to sort that out. Following that...

We loved the location to the plaza. Also close to everything in San Miguel. We had room 110 which I only had one complaint about. There was one stiff chair. So if you wanted to sit and read or relax, you had to do it in bed! Room was cleaned nicely every day. If church bells ringing annoys you, I'd...

Stayed one night and was much better than I expected for the low price 3 blocks from main plaza. Very nice gardens and grounds and room was very nice and clean. Cost $50 including tax. Would stay again.

My 2 children my wife and I spent couple of night this past december. We had stayed 14 years ago in same hotel when Cynthia Price was owner-manager. It is nothing compared. Where can i start? Old towels, plastic curtains, lousy coffee in rooms, showers with no pressure, no drinks or anything available at hotel ..: etc, etc It is...

We stayed for one night and got a room near the street... I thought it would be noisy, and I was right, but the noise came from the hotel itself, some kind of kitchen, which is strange because the hotel has no restaurant, and breakfast is served around the corner. Our room was spacious but furnishings were a bit spartan,...

Dear Guest thank you for your comments, the hotel has no kitchen but we will look into the noise you mention to identify where it comes from, as you well said parking is slow in san miguel due to the many festivities that take place in the city but we are of the few hotels that offer free parking to...

We stayed here for a long weekend to attend a destination birthday party. The room was booked for us by our birthday hosts. The best thing about the hotel is its location--close to everything you would want to see. We stayed in a junior suite which was in the middle of the hotel. We did not have any problems with...

I really liked staying at this hotel. It is small with very few rooms, colonial syle. It is very close to the main square (like 3 blocks away) but perfectly located because it is a quiet street, so it is very peaceful. Right next to our room was a nice roof top with chairs . The people at the front...

It's an intimate, quiet and peaceful location. Just a couple of blocks from the main square. Would definitely stay there next time. There is no parking but they have valet parking. There are intricate passages and steps, not handicap friendly. Other than that, it was perfect. Can't wait to be back.
