Casa Frida was clean and nice. We arrived in January in low season and believe the house was empty. Here are the bad parts: Pricing/Paying is unclear - We booked the cheapest room for roughly $65/night through Hotels.com. The pricing is not really clear as Hotels quoted around $50/night (I assume based on an estimation exchange rate), the casa Frida...

We got there without a booking, but had no problem getting a nice room. The location is great; the house is so beautifully decorated; the terrace has great views of the city and sunset. Breakfast time is 0900, but when the owner saw us working early morning in the dining area, she made a big breakfast by herself - and...

I keep coming back to Casa Frida because it's so relaxing. I love the beach and all the wonderful seafood. It's a good place to learn how to surf! On my next trip, I definitely want to go on a boat excursion to the "Moros" a rock formation that creates five islands in the bay.

I was there last month: A charming, cosy place built and designed by the owners with care for details (every room a different charm) and the traditional welcoming Mexican patio to relax and mingle with fellow travelers. Extremely efficient staff makes you feel really at home while having all the services and attention one needs when on holiday. Perfect location...

My friends and I stayed at the Casa Frida for four days in February. We fell in love with the place!!! First of all the location is great because it is out of the busy center but close enough to walk to. It is very quiet and you can only hear the fountain in the patio. Not easily you find...

Casa Frida has a spectacular view from the roof terrace, ideal to relax and chill with view over the city (sun loungers available). Disadvantage is that it is located uphill from the city center and the hill is steep. Walking downhill is fine, but uphill quite exhausting. However, you can also take a cab for 30 to 50 pesos. The...

We recently spent 5 nights in the Toulouse room with the lovely brick domed ceiling. While this B& B is a lovely property overlooking the town with tasteful rooms, we felt it lacked some basic comforts. They have put alot of effort into the house but seem to scrimp on visitor extras. The room was heated by a propane heater...
