We stayed at Manor farm for 3 nights while visiting family in Rosedale. Sue and Adam were the perfect hosts, friendly and very accommodating. The room was large and very clean. Adam rang the local pub and booked us in for an evening meal. Of course staying on a WORKING farm there are going to be smells!! The family dogs...

I totally agree with the review written by calgacus27. We found the owners to be very friendly so it is a shame to write this review. However, as I read many tripadvisor reviews prior to visiting we were so disappointed with the room, specifically the cleanliness. If we hadn’t arrived as late in the day (when it would have been...

Apart from the gentle woman who hosted us and the beautiful landscape around there are many things to be improved. Cleanliness is rare in England but when it happens it is joy to the heart. A farm is a farm and we understand it, but when it comes to private premises the tune should change. Spiders in the bathrooms, old...

OK let's get some balance here. This is a working farm and as might be expected it has not been 'prettified' and there are resident dogs. However it is not dirty or messy, the room we had was clean and comfortable albeit with no frills but we had everything we needed. The breakfast was very nice all freshly cooked and...

My dad and I stayed at Manor Farm for 2 nights mid-July. Our rooms were spotless, comfortable and the beds were great. Nothing fancy -- but that's not why I travel & why I chose to stay on a farm. Sue was welcoming and cooked us a wonderful full English breakfast. The tiny village of Gillamoor is charming and the...

We did not book this and I am glad for it, dropped by to check it out as we're traveling in the area, this B&B is not excalty in a quiet setting, albeit it's in a beautiful village, but amongst a messy unwelcoming pig farm,we walked down the yard and it was not pleasant, dogs Barking at us,and no one there to enquire,and...

Really warm welcome from the owner. Room was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast too. Beware of poor wifi/phone signal though, as the farm is in a very rural location. Royal Oak only 300 yards away and served great food.

We had a very pleasant second visit to this rural working farm. Breakfasts consist of local produce and very appetising. Clean and tidy ensuite room. Your hosts Adam and Sue, although having a farm to run, still have time to be hospitable and chatty. John Margaret and Jonty.
