Very tired and shabby hotel, murky pool, awful buffet restaurant complete with flies and cling film over bowls! No alcohol, air conditioning only in your room. Awful towels and grubby rooms. Definitely needs a BIG renovation. Only good thing was its location.

A very comfortable stay at this hotel situated in a beautiful heritage building. Staff were friendly and attentive and shops and restaurants were a short walk away. Breakfast included both English and Indian options including omelettes, dosa, fresh fruit, toast etc. I would happily stay here if I were to visit Kochi again.

Excellent location to explore Kochi set in the Fort area and close to all attractions This is a heritage hotel and has been updated tastefully to keep the feel. It can look tired and some decoration work would be beneficial. Our room was spacious with additional seating area. There was a communal kettle in the courtyard but the staff arranged for a kettle and cups etc for the room. The water in our room was no more than tepid (almost cold) therefore showers were brief. The staff were very helpful and friendly Overall very happy here

Loved the history of the Dutch Bungalow Heritage Hotel constructed by the Dutch East India Company in 1668 AD. loved how they have maintained a lot of the old charm. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

As the name suggests it’s an old Dutch building converted to an hotel. As such the retrofitting was a little odd but the room was comfortable. It’s an easy walk to the waterside of Cochin and there are a few good restaurants nearby. The open air restuarant was set up around the pool and very pleasant.

This was our first night in Kerala. Friendly, small, and intimate hotel with wonderful staff. Ideally located to wonder around Fort Kochi and take in the attractions. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Thank for your hospitality, good food, and wonderful pool.

Huge room, bathroon and a additional room. Good service from personnel. Good food. The restaurant served ok breakfast. Not a huge selection, but rhe local food varied from day to day. You could also order eggs/ommeletts. The pool was nice. (And cool) Very central in Fort Kochi. Free WIFI Great startingpoint for exploring Fort Kochi both by foot and by rickshaw/tucktuck. We arrived at 11:30, before normal check in. But they accomodated us and the bungalow was ready in 30min We were also allowed late check out 12:30 (probably due to the low season)

We stayed in Dutch Bungalow during the New Year time and I would say it was mostly a good experience. It's a heritage property with an old world charm. The room was well maintained (though a little small) and comfy with an additional living room attached to it. The bathroom was huge though. There was a common balcony overlooking the pool and a common room (that was huge) with a beautiful swing and a bookshelf full of books. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, close to many good cafes and restaurants and also at just 5 mins walk away from Fort Kochi Beach. The only thing that we did not like much is the food. Breakfast spread was small yet okay, but then it lacked in hygiene. I could see flies on the muffin the 2nd day we went for breakfast. Also, as it was new year time, they had made it mandatory to have gala dinner for the guests. Honestly, this was the most substandard Gala dinner I ever had. The food was almost cold by 8:30pm, the starters did not have any mushroom or paneer or chicken dishes (but fish and beef were there). And one of the staff even argued that since most people in Kerala have beef and also people come to Kerala for seafood, that was justified. The main course was limited and the desert were not at all good except the okayish chocolate cake. Even the passion fruit drink got over, so they served it to one of us and then served something else to the other. This is not expected from a hotel of this category. You could very well charge a little more and make it a better dinner spread. So yes, if I ignore the food part, it is a good place to stay in Fort Kochi. And that is why I am giving it 4 instead of 5. I hope they make improvement in the food, because this place truly has the potential to be one of the best in Fort Kochi.

We stayed in a family room and were comfortable. The breakfast was fairly good and ticked most boxes. Pretty well located. Quite budget, but not necessarily budget prices. The pool is a nice bonus when the weather is hot. Beds were comfortable.
