Alsisar Mahal is the battle hardened palace in the town of Alsisar in Shekhawati Region of Rajasthan. Earlier Alsisar Mahal was the residence of the Thakur of Alsisar, which is recently renovated and refurbished into a luxurious heritage hotel. Alsisar, famous for castles, Havelis and Cenotaphs is a small town surrounded by semi arid desert, situated in the north-western part of Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan. It originated in the form of small Havelis' collection in the town and later developed in the form of huge havelis which today stands tall and leaves a history behind them. There are hundreds of havelis in this area which bear the wonderful fresco paintings in various everlasting colours and designs. Each speaks with full throated ease about the glorious past of Shekhawati. They are the masterpiece of art and architecture created centuries ago. This is the reason the land of Alsisar Mahal is popularly known as open art gallery.

A beautiful heritage palace converted into hotel. It’s very well restored and tastefully decorated with rich frescos and vintage furniture. Rooms are super spacious and gives you a taste of royal stays. Grand arches, open areas are frequented by peacocks. Staff here is courteous and very well trained. And the food is fresh & tasty.

I have been visiting this property for sometime now. Simply love the food and adore the majestic grandeur of the Palace. It needs a special mention on how this 17th century Palace is maintained. Located about 200 kms from Jaipur. This is also the venue for Annual Magnetic Fields music festival. I highly recommend the hotel for a perfect getaway with family or friends. Do try the evening Jeep safari trips for a beautiful sun downer from a sand dune. Special thanks to Zaheer ji for attending to all needs and warm hospitality . I hope to visit the stunning property again soon!

Beautiful haveli (palace) located in the middle of almost nowhere. Very good service, friendly accomodating staff and highly vigilant about hygiene. Has an old world vibe. Must take a tour of the hotel, they have done an awesome job of retaining the basics of the palace, yet added their own twist to modernise some features without losing its charm.

Very nice spacious property for weekend get away from Delhi NCR. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, however comforter was needed in place of sheet, though on call it was given. In the evening a puppet show was organised in the courtyard which added to the experience. Pool was clean and well kept, ambience was great ! Good job

We went there for one night stay with 3 families. The palace is beautiful and very well maintained. There are many quaint corners to explore or sit and chit-chat. It's away from the hustle bustle of big cities and the perfect place to relax.
Though there were some issues regarding air conditioning in our room but the entire staff is very helpful and courteous.
Overall a great weekend experience!

What a beautiful, special palace- from the moment you drive through the archway you feel like royalty. We had a suite which was enormous with a refreshment station and great views. The evening meal was delicious and taken in the ball room under crystal chandeliers! The pool looked inviting but sadly we didn’t have time to use it. Do not be put off by the drive through the village it really is worth it! Sunset on the rooftop is not to be missed!

If you are looking for a place for a family celebration, alsisar mahal is a perfect place to do so. I have recently visited alsisar mahal, with my family to celebrate our silver anniversary. Apart from venue, the team members are extremely courteous and can go all out to ensure, guest comfort and happiness. Special mention for zaheer ji, surendra ji and the entire team members, whose untiring effort has made our entire celebration a grand success.

A beautiful fort converted to a heritage hotel, New portions also added but are similar to heritage part. Rooms are spacious clean well lit. Staff polite and curious. Food is exceptionally tasty but for any special choice you need to tell in advance.
Bathrooms could have been better if blue tiles were used.
Jeep Safari in the name of desert Safari is disappointing because you have an image of sand dunes other wise its good as driver and another staff try their best to make it memorable.

The food, atmosphere, and service were fantastic! It made us feel connected to our culture. The management, especially the head manager- Mr Zahir, was really helpful and it felt very warm interacting with him. A must visit destination.

We were at the property during autumn but the way we were looked after whilst there, would leave me to believe you and your family will have a memorable stay at the property, during the New Years celebrations. Some of our party dressed casually whilst others more formal as far as I am aware there is no dress code. Enjoy your celebrations in wonderful relaxing surroundings.

Hi! Since we drove from Delhi to Alsisar I don't know about the train route. We walked around the village and discovered Indra Vilas a old haveli converted to hotel, it's a good option for meals. We drove to Rani Sati Mandir in Jhunjhunu, visited the Shekhawati haveli in Nawalgarh and went to Mandwa village.
