4-5 hours drive from Delhi, this place is perfect for people who love to drive and would love to get away from their homes during this pandemic. The Mahal is beautiful with big rooms and the staff ensures safety for COVID. The Mahal is located in the middle of a village so you're away from the city noise.
My sister and I visited the Haveli in early March. It was a strange time to visit with the virus beginning it’s spread across the world. It had not reached this beautiful area of Rajasthan yet and we had a fabulous visit at this stunning Haveli. I would call it a palace. Every area in the palace is filled with paintings, wonderful photographs of the family throughout the years, stunning frescos, antique furniture, stained glass windows that send rainbow light, hidden rooms on all the floors which we were able to explore and so much more. The staff was so friendly and helpful and every wish was fulfilled. The food was excellent and the rooms graceful and with every comfort. We hope to come back again and bring friends as soon as the world heals.
Fabulous building!! Magnificent rooms with huge bathrooms and lounge areas in each. Lovely grounds and swimming pool. Pure luxury!! So why not 5 star. Basically the food let it down. The setting for the evening buffet was wonderful. The buffet however was luke warm, with not a lot of choice. Breakfast was disappointing. Very little fresh fruit and only one choice of cereal. Not sure whether or not they were cutting back with the Coronovirus about to take off in India and we were the last group to visit. The hotel was set in the centre of a busy little village, which was worth exploring.
Splendid hotel in enormous converted stunning palace. Superb rooms, most of which are suites and/or complete apartments. Every room is different and has its own style. Very impressive reception hall and ding hall. Good food and friendly staff. Location is away from it all in rural village.
This is a magical hotel. Steeped in history the setting is magnificant right in the village of Alsisar whch gives a wonderful insite to life in a typical Rajistan village. The bedrooms are enormous with 4 posters and the food and service was first class.
