Alsisar is one of the finest, yet untouched gems of Shekhawati. This we have endeavored to polish, protect and preserve for you, the connoisseurs, who care and feel for the great inheritance bequeathed by events of history. The hundred-room haveli built by Indrachand Kejriwal in a ten-acre compound extending to ancient wells built to grand scale, welcomes guests to stay in splendor of the past with modern comforts. Walk around the village to explore the art hidden in the profusion of mansions and temples dotting every street. Sit around the village pond chatting with inquisitive kids, artisans and wizened old folks. Ride a camel for dinner on the dunes, in the backdrop of folk dances and lilting tunes. Come, indulge yourselves with the legendary Rajasthan hospitality. While you are pampered, the village is reinvigorated, blowing off the sand from hidden frescoes and reviving the rich traditions of the bygone era.

My second night in a hotel arranged by our travel company was in this hotel. I was travelling with more than 30 others on an RSD travel holiday. This hotel is full of character, with traditional furniture, but offers comfortable accomodation, quite different from modern hotels. There is no safe or fridge, but it does have a very nice outdoor pool which many of us enjoyed. Dining was al fresco, with a reasonable selection of tasty Indian dishes. Breakfast was in the restaurant and offered a typical Indian selection. Nice outdoor seating to enjoy a beer or two. An unusual feature was that the doors to the rooms were secured by a large padlock on the outside, but just a single bolt on the inside. If you find yourself in this part of the country, I would recommend a stay.

Highly overrated. Room given was dingy smelly and had no light. Changed on request was better but still does not justify the rating. The bathroom drains were clogged and was smelly. Overall a less than average experience. Staff was courteous and helpful

I really liked this beautiful haveli located in Alsisar village in Rajasthan which is around 250 kms away from New Delhi. There is no near by airport so it would be better if you hire a cab. This is one of the most beautiful and elegant haveli's I have ever seen. The architecture of this place will surely give a royal feel. It has that traditional touch of Rajasthani folk art. They have a puppet show during dinner. The staff here wear those beautiful Rajasthani dresses which adds to the charm of this place. The traditional Rajasthani food served here is delicious. There are so many old and beautiful haveli's situated in this village so please not to forget to check out those place also during your stay. To sum up, it’s worth if you are in this region to spend some time.

This lovely old palace reflects its former glory in its restored wall paintings and lovely courtyards. The restaurant is not so good though although the setting in the garden near the pool is beautiful in the moonlight. Rooms have comfy beds and good A/C and the bathrooms are ample in size and nicely appointed. Town of Alsisar itself is totally unspoiled and unused to visitors. This area of the Shekhawati deserves more foreign visitors than it gets!

In a place in nowhere, this hotel gave us a unique experience. All they need to do now is to bring the hotel up to standard with furnishings and facilities. Hopefully they will get there, eventually. Very basic at present.

This hotel should rather be described as palace! Our stay was very luxurious and it felt like we were in a movie. Very large bedroom which was beautifully decorated. Very nice gift shop and restaurant on site. Large pool. Food was authentically Indian and was delicious! There was a strange atmosphere as the hotel is situated in a rural village near the poorer area. Was great walking around and exploring the Haveli's nearby. Would recommend if you would like to experience a different part of India.

My wife and I stayed one night during a two week tour of India. Our room was huge and appropriately equipped. The bathroom, while large, was somewhat dated and run down and not air conditioned. Everything functioned, but there were no “extras.” Wi-Fi was weak. The hotel restaurant was fine, although the selection somewhat limited. Service from the hotel staff exceeded that of most other hotels.
