Au Chasseur is a little hotel we randomly chose as a stopover place, but it was a nice surprise. The rooms are more than ok, bathrooms renovated to a high standard, which is rare in France. The only little setback were banging doors due to automatic systems. The isolation to the outside is perfect (which is nice, due to the...

If you are in search of quietness and a peaceful environment close to Strasbourg, this is the place to stay at ! The rooms are clean, the scenery in the neighbourhood is breathtaking. You can enjoy the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, etc ... The only thing you can hear outside is the bell of the little church every hour,...

Need somewhere to stop overnight on a road trip from UK down through France to our skiing destination in Austria Picked this hotel based purely on location What a find! I have rarely stayed in a cleaner hotel Rooms are a bit dated but comfortable Pool, jacuzzi etc. were great, kids loved them. Restaurant was top notch - not cheap,...

This was a stopover en route from Switzerland to the channel for a party of 7 (5 children + parents). We booked it partly because of the pool (which had closed by the time we arrived, at 7pm, much to the children's disappointment) and because of the accommodation configuration, which proved excellent for our purposes (junior suite: 2 separate sleeping...

This hotel would be a lovely base camp to tour the Alsatian vinyards and all the surrounding history in the region. We had a very nice stay here with a very delicious dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. It is walking distance to another little village just down the road and an easy drive (pending traffic) into Strasbourg and...

We stayed for one night on our way from london to italy after a gap of some years. The hotel is still enchanting and the next generation run it as well as their parents did. The welcome is warm and the room has everything you want. We had a basic room but it was perfect for an overnight stay. The...

This is the third visit to this lovely hotel and we were not disappointed. Karin made us feel so welcome. The room, food and wine were all excellent. If you want peace and tranquillity this is your place. Yet not too far off the beaten track.

A well-equipped hotel in idyllic surroundings, with comfortable rooms, friendly prioprietors and helpful staff. The restaurant is quite outstanding; the cuisine is right up among the best in the region and there is an excellent selection of fairly-priced wines. Difficult to see how this place could be bettered in terms of value for money. Particularly recommended: the ‘séjour gastronomique” of...
