The hotel is really nice and do have some small houses directly at the beach. The houses just do have beds with mosquito nets and a table. Everybody who does go there shall know before: -There MIGHT be some insects in the cabañas. We have never had. - The toilets and showers are shared ones! (man & female seperate) It...

Unknowingly, I found myself at the thump thump thump of Playa del Carmen during the BMP festival. Needing a quiet escape, I landed at Zazil Kin. Drawn by the fact that it is within walking distance to the Tulum Ruins, I thought my rustic hut, with mosquito-netted bed and shared bathrooms, a perfect respite. One sand dune away from the...

Initially we had a quite uncomfortable mattress but "you get what you pay for". Value for the money for being in the beach of Tulum is good. We asked for a more comfortable mattress and they put a brand new one in our room! They have a new beautiful restaurant where we ate deliciously. Very helpful staff. Gorgeous place at...

It's really difficult to review this place as we kind of got what we expected. The only positive is the location is amazing and it's certainly a great experience to be able to see Tulum beach at night and in the morning. Other than that the accommodation is very overpriced for what it is ( we were there peak season...

The only really good thing about this place is it is right on the beach and it's only a few hundred metres to the ruins. It is far from town. It's not always easy to get a cab. The staff here don't care at all if you have a question, need a cab, or if the internet doesn't work. Rooms...

This is an Eco hotel, there is electricity at night time in the cabañas. It is also possible to get towels and blankets with a deposit. I found the staff to be very friendly, but I spoke Spanish with them. It's a wonderful place if you aren't too high maintenance.

Cabanas are very BASIC, in accordance with the environment, it is ok, but the lack of common toilets is a problem, there is just one bath per gender and without light from 7 PM to 7 am, so you are completely in the darkness with a long line waiting that you finish (so stressing!). There are much better ecolodges in...

Overall, I had a pleasant experience. The staff in the hotel was very friendly, nice and helpful. We could rent bicycles to go to the archeological site, but instead we walked there and it took about 10 min. We had a private room and I really loved it. The room design was unique, hut like yet modern. What I love...

We spent 3 nights, 2 adults and 9 yrs old kid. if you like really wild and evological place this is. Lights only 7 to 7 , few steps to the beach. There are cabanias with only the 2 beds and a coumpke of chairs. We use sharing bathroom (almost galf of price instead a private bathroom). The only objection...

First, this beach is IN the national park and so it IS an "eco-hotel" which is why they don't have electricity during the day (the generator charges via sunlight during the day--you get power at night), it's why it isn't a giant Vegas-style resort, etc. BUT..... it's absolutely amazing! We went in early june and my boyfriend had NEVER traveled...
