I stayed here as part of group of 2 couples this month and I would like to say that I was amazed ! I have worked hard doing farming and construction (among countless other labor intensive jobs)all my life and this La Selva Mariposa shows the kind of labor of love that only long hours and a vision can produce!...

A lovely review from a lovely couple. We were delighted to meet you and often commented on your attention to one another. Nice to see. Glad we provided a setting where you felt so at home and relaxed. Do come back.

This place was something special, from the private pool outside your bedroom door to the open ceiling bathroom it was a cool place. It is a secluded location but you can walk to the highway and walk across the street to a sit down restaurant and just down the street from the restaurant is a taco place that had the...

My husband and I stayed in Suite #2 while my brother and his wife stayed in Suite #3. The rooms provided privacy along with space for being together for our visit. The thoughtfulness evident in the many small details make this place extra special. The rooms were unique, tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. The grounds were chock full of...

Wow! I was expecting this to be a very special property/experience after ready the reviews, checking out the video and 'chatting' with the owners Mari and Luis but I can stay I was still blown away by the property and the attention to all the minute details (like individual ready lights with dimmers above your pillows/screens built into the doors...

Thanks so much for the outstanding review. We loved meeting you and your friends even though the stay was not near long enough. We are glad that you mentioned the choices of places to eat near by in Macario Gomez and the great shopping near by. We think the best shopping in the Riviera Maya is right here along the...

Whether you seek solitude or activity, sun or shade, a bike ride or even a swim in your own, little cenote, La Selva Mariposa has it all. We came seeking rest, after a busy month of travel. Immediately, we felt at home. Not only did Lou and Mari greet us with smiles as if we were old friends, but they...

This is a charming and exceptionally well run B&B. The rooms are very clean, artistically decorated and there is great attention to detail. They have provided whatever you need to explore the jungle, beach , ruins and more ....even a " carry all" bag. The B&B is well located for exploring the area and to access the beautiful, uncrowded Tulum...

Thanks for taking the time to write a review about your recent visit to La Selva Mariposa. We are hoping you will come back again, and bring your family next time. It was a pleasure to serve such a delightful couple. Sharing our stories was the best part.

This is probably the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. So nice and the breakfasts are lovely. I quess it is best for couples, but we had our 3 year old with us and it worked fine.

Thanks for the nice review. Meeting you and your 3 year old daughter was a great experience for us as well as our other guests. She was so well behaved and just a little ray of sunshine. Do come back.

Mari was a wealth of information on where we should go based on our interests, which for me was anything on or near the water. We stayed in the deluxe suite with an open ceiling shower, which I thought was wonderful and never noticed any bugs in the bathroom due to that. Our first night there we did encounter a...

Thanks for the effort you made in writing a review about your stay at LSM. Some of your comments are confusing to us. You said the only reason you gave us a 4 was because of the location, so why the lower rating on service and value? Our web site says we are 20 km or 15 min. from Tulum,...

My sweeite and I stayed 3 nights at this wonderful place. Each room was unique with privacy, thoughtful design and eclectic design. It's location was terrific. While some folks want a place on the beach, this was good because it was near the beach, but also near the monkey sanctuary, cenotes, and the ruins of Coba. The food is delicious,...

Thanks for the lovely review. We will do the airport pick up and drop off ONLY if you stay for at least 5 nights and rent our CRV Honda. We are continually making improvements and creating little nooks and corners to relax in, so staying more than a few nights is necessary to get a real feel for what we...

We will be waiting for your return. Sometimes being a little removed from the crowds of Playa, Cancun and Tulum can be well worth the 20 minute drive to the coast.
