Shambala Petite is an extremely beautiful beachfront resort on the calm blue waters of the Mexican Riviera. I recently attended a yoga/fitness retreat there and had a mostly wonderful time. The yoga/movement space had a magical view and feel of the ocean and sand. The living spaces varied, mine was basic, clean and felt safe, though lacked an overall sense...

First Thank you so much for dedicating your first review ever in Trip Advisor to me !!!! , so sorry you have such a bad experience. According to my memory you apologize more than once first for accusing my staff of disappearing your credit card from your room, then for not finding your passport, inside of a pillow case, any...

My husband and I stayed at the Shambala Petit this February as part of a yoga trip. We'd never participated in a yoga retreat before and Shambala Petit was the most amazing place for yoga and just a wonderful beach vacation. Roberto, Mari and the Shambala staff prepared us three healthy and delicious meals and day and there was always...

Although the hotel is aesthetically beautiful and the location is perfect - right on the beach in the center of things - I will never go back because the owner is passive-aggressive, a poor communicator and at times downright rude. Simple requests for things like hangers or granola before yoga class to prevent low blood sugar were refuted or ignored....

Thank you for taking the time, for an amazing review, I wish the next retreat you decide to organize, you use those amazing skills to really communicate your needs. As a Retreat leader you should know that you get what you paid for, no more no less. And please don't make your personal experience, the experience of all the people...

We stayed here over Christmas and enjoyed everything about it. Best part is the all vegan food (breakfast and lunch) that is served at set times for all guests. Sitting around the table sharing experiences. Really need to come back here.

In the novel "Lost Horizon," the author describes a place that is harmonious and an earthy paradise. Shambala is that - a refuge from the outside world. The sound of the sea is ever present; gentle breezes moderate the temperature and the mosquitos; and the cabanas are simple, clean, and comfortable. I attend a yoga retreat at Shambala and it...

We only stayed here for one night as we decided to stay in Tulum an extra night and needed a place last minute. When we arrived in the morning there seemed to some confusion as the manager had not received our details from booking.com. He was very friendly though and immediately got a cabin prepared, but it was not the...

I stayed at Shambala in July 2016. I loved this place. It is simple, no fluff, piece of heaven. Disconnect, read a book or ten, float in the ocean, or walk the most beautiful beach Mexico has to offer. Our room as we described it, a deluxe tree house. Beautiful view of the ocean, with the ocean breeze cooling us...

My family did not plan to stay at Shambala. We actually booked a cabana next door but when we arrived, we found out it was permanently closed. I should mention, I was traveling with my husband and my three children, the youngest of which is under 2. We were tired, hungry, and a little nervous about being in a foreign...

My company, Fit & Fly Girl, held its first Tulum retreat at Shambala Petit Hotel in early June. I scouted the retreat last year and after viewing several hotels and villas in Tulum, I chose Shambala Petit for its charm and central beachfront location. Sixteen women joined me at Shambala Petit for what I can only describe as a magical...
