My boyfriend Randy and I stayed at the Palms Tulum Feb 11-17th and I will tell you that this hotel is truly a GEM! The staff are absolutely professional and super friendly.-from the moment we arrived were greeted (we had arrived 1 1/2 hours early as we drove by car) and the young woman (told us she had come to...

We stayed three nights in Tulum Town before heading to the beach. The Palms was exceptional. Wonderful staff, intimate hotel, convenient location, modern rooms. The rolling shades were a nice touch to block out the light and a little noise. The A/C worked great and the kitchen was handy. Microwaves and toasters were helpful. We didn't have them on the...

This is the first time trip advisor has steered me wrong. This Hotel has won a trip advisor award, so I thought this was a sure thing. If you're looking for A nice comfy bed and a room with air conditioning, this is not your place. The air conditioning was broken and the beds are rock hard. The management was...

Tried to decide between staying at the beach vs. in town in Tulum. Definitely different experiences, as we also visited friends for the beach experience. Palms Tulum is in town on a side street just off of the main highway 307. It is a small hotel with very large rooms on maybe three floors (no elevator as far as I...

We just spent a week at the Palms Tulum Luxury Hotel. It has a good location and is very well maintained and attractive. The staff is friendly and helpful. The front desk is run by men with enough English that a person who doesn't have a good command of Spanish needn't worry. We would stay here again were we to...

This Hotel is nice (not luxury): Ours was an apartment with kitchen, living/dining a bedroom and a bath. There is a courtyard and a swimming pool at the entrance. The hotel offers bicycles for their guests free of charge. The Staff was EXTREMELY nice!! HOWEVER: THE LOCATION. This hotel is located at the center of town, almost on front of...

Palms is in the pueblo part of Tulum - much grittier and far less pretty than the beach area. When we turned up, after an epic journey, we were told there was no room available despite having booked and paid days earlier. Cue journeys in taxis to a random local apartment block that they offered in return. We felt unsafe...

Loved this place. We had a car and stayed here for four days. There's a cute lobby with water, coffee and tea. Lourdes at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. There's a small pool you can cool off in, it was empty most of our stay. Our unit was on the top floor, two flights of stairs up...

This hotel is on the first street in town so it’s a 5 minute drive to the beach, or 10-15 by bike. It’s a couple of block away from the major super market in town. And it’s in town so near all the food and bars. They have a partnership with the beach hotel El Paraiso so you have beach...
