Very friendly staff but did not like the hostel. Stayed in a six bed durm that was more like a tool shead with beds. Rained on us at night (water got in from all around the room) and was a fairly long walk to the toilet and the showers are outside.... Stayed there one night and will not stay there...

We stayed at Hostel Sheck for the 1000 pesos for 3 nights in a private room deal. The room was basic but comfortable, bed was comfy, fan was perfect didn't need to pay the extra 100p for the air con. Had a bit of an odd mouldy smell and it felt quite damp. Room was cleaned daily, bathroom and shower...

Really enjoyed our stay here - we are an early 30s adventurous couple. Bar is open in evenings with cheap drink deals and people hangout and socialize. Stayed in 6 person dorm with 2 women - Smallish but CLEANed everyday, Ceiling fan but not too hot. There are private rooms too with/without but we're booked. Staff is very friendly- we...

Staff is friendly and helpful and there is a nice small outdoor area with a bar. Breakfast was simple but good (coffee and a pancake). But apart from that, it's not that nice. Dorms were very smelly (mold type smell) and depressingly basic. There are no window so when it rains, the rains comes inside the room ans onto the...

My girlfriend and I stayed here and were so impressed. We met amazing people and the staff were always there to help with any questions we had. The dorm room was spacey and the showers were hot and powerful. The location is great, within walking distance to all the bars and food stools. Would highly recommend! Taz and cat x

Great hostel with helpful staff. Cool bar area that's very sociable but not too much of a party and a decent breakfast included. Pretty hard to beat really. The location of the toilets is the only down side but they are always clean etc. I'd stay here again for sure.

Hostel Sheck have thought of everything. From delicious breakfast, amazing showers, comfy beds, a buzzing bar and even live music...this is a wicked hostel with a super cool vibe. It's not a party hostel - there's plenty of that just down the road - but there is always a lively atmosphere in the evening and very chilled during the day....

The Sheck Hostel was my first accommodation in Mexico. It was perfect to get myself in the vibe of the country. It is a very social place, without being too noisy. There is a little bar, a very nice outdoor common area and lots of hammocks! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the showers and bathroom facilities are basic,...
