The staff were friendly and nice, but the facilities were lacking - only one shower for all guests, and there was no water pressure - it was literally just a trickle of water. Also, it was beyond dirty. In the shower alone there were 3 dead cockroaches, which leaves me wondering if that was what accumulated in just 1 day,...

Pros: -location -free breakfast -free water -good spot in the trees -nice private rooms Cons: -no water in some bathrooms -dive shop cars running next to open window into room causing a lot of fumes -broken shower head -lock to private room broken I would just say that it needs some attention

Weekend with the girls so accommodation was not our main priority, any bed would do, but the showers not working that is another story. Shower drip not fixed for 2 days, glad I only stayed 1 night. Mushroom burger is fantastic but breakfast could be improved as well. Salad fruit could be replaced by a fruit platter rather than yellow/brown...

We could not sleep in two days, noise like hell, they have a disco in next door or something. The staff are very nice and kind, but the place socks. Matress noise, and can not used the kitchen. Could be more tidy too.

I don´t go to a hostel expecting a five star hotel experience, but this place charges an unjustifiable price for what it offers. We stayed in one of the ¨best¨rooms, the bathroom had several visible hairs in the shower and the mirror was dirty. I could probably forgive these flaws but for the fact that the place is charging 46...

We booked here for 2 nights through youth hostel because it was the only one available (high season). We payed USD38 for a "private room shared bathroom", but when we got there we got no info about anything and were told the room was "semiprivate". Registration: pretty confusing, small reception. There was no electricity at the time (apparently this is...

The jungle atmosphere is a great place to spend your stay in Tulum. It is located about one block away from the main road in the city so access to anything is very easy and you can avoid the constant hustle and bustle of the street. The beach is within walking distance and the Mayan ruins are right there too! It's a little hostel. Everything is very rustic and very minimalist. The bathrooms are very clean! The staff is excellent and very friendly especially Rebecca (Brazilian). It's a cheap place to stay. Our room was a three person room next to a 7 person room with guys and girls all mixed in. It had a bathroom that we could all...
