I only visited over the day on a few occasions. Took yoga classes with very good instructors and professional attitude, had wonderful lunches at the restaurant and enjoyed excellent service. The whole place has an ambience of space, class, tranquillity and friendliness. Would love to come back and stay overnight!

I have been going to this little quiet resort when I need to detach from my crazy busy life once a year for 15 years, and I still find it as charming and beautiful as the first time I arrived. If you are in need of a total quiet get away this place is for you. I have travelled all...

Having visited many of the hotels in Tulum, this resort is truly the best place to stay. Why? 1. No other hotel has this much beachfront. You are sure to be able to just relax without fighting for chairs or listening to loud, blaring music. 2. The spa treatments are out of this world amazing. Mayan healers are on site...

I just returned from 4 days at Maya Tulum and am so pleased to be able to share some specifics about my lovely experience. First, I was one of the few people there not part of he 2 yoga groups there and it did not feel odd in any way. I had traveled by myself, just for some needed "head...

I am not someone who keeps going to same place over and over. BUT! Maya Tulum is the exception. I love going back each year. When I arrive, I am greeted at the front desk with, "welcome, home, Annie." AHHH! I love everything about this small resort. I am heading back again soon.

The setting is stunningly beautiful, and the thatch-roof rooms are as nice as any eco-hotel in the world. Be prepared: there is no air conditioning. But when conditions are right, you can cool yourself with the glorious ocean breezes. We booked an inclusive package, which meant our meals, yoga, a tour, and a spa treatment were included, as were transfers...

Had a wonderful time here in January on a yoga retreat. The group and the yoga classes were amazing. Loved the cabana I stayed in, it was right on the beach, and the sound of the ocean waves helped me fall asleep at night. The massages are pricey, I got the Mayan clay massage which was very relaxing. The only...

i've stayed a Maya Tulum...many times. This time, the food was worse. The service was mixed. Our room (15) was near some sort of septic stench. The beds weren't super comfortable. When i stayed here in the 90s for $80/night i didn't expect great sheets. But in 2017 with $290/night rates, i'd like better quality. Nestor at the front deck...

I just returned from a glorious week at Maya Tulum. I'm already missing my toes in the fine white sand, and watching the sun rise over the beautiful turquoise waters. We came to Maya Tulum for a yoga retreat, our package included beautiful spacious rooms. Palapa style round rooms add to the character to this place, our room was clean...

I stayed at Maya Tulum last week and was extremely pleased with my stay. For starters, we stayed in room 28 and our room had the most amazing view of the ocean! We went to sleep to the sound of waves - doesn't get much better. They had large jugs of water in the room for us to refill our...
