My wife and I stayed at Zamas om Feb. 7 & 8 2013, Loved listening to the surf on the beach at night and toes in the sand during the day at the beachfont Cabanas. The restaurant food and the staff service were fantastic. We'll be back again soon for a longer stay.

I just went for four days to Zamas and fell in love and will totally be back. This is a more rustic vacation then a resort but it is heavenly. We stayed in a second floor room, and I would highly recommend it. We had a view of the ocean and comfortable hammocks to swing from on the balcony. It...

My husband and I stayed February 12 - 16 in a small beachfront cabana, B1 (see room tip). Zamas was beautiful and well managed. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times - Augustine was particularly helpful with local information. Facilities - cabanas, public spaces, and restaurant - were all spotless throughout our trip. Zamas was a good location....

I just visited Zamas Tulum last week and found the place to be magical. My friends and I had a large beach cabana and the accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and steps from the ocean. The staff at Zamas was very friendly and accomodating. One morning I was sitting in a hammock on the front porch of my cabana and one...

We have been coming to Zamas for over 15 years. It is better than ever. The small changes have added to the rustic elegance. There are many small hotels on the Tulum beach, but none have the special vibe of Zamas. There is nothing better than waking up and going to sleep to the sounds of the waves crashing on...

My husband and I just got back from a week in Tulum and were very pleased with our stay at Zamas. We have no complaints. Cute and clean cabana (comfy beds), great food, music, amazing beach and the staff were so nice. The location is great too. Easy to walk or bike around the area. Zamas exceeded our expectations and...

The charming cabanas with mosquito netting over the beds, the aquamarine Caribbean, waves crashing, sun shining, private beach--a most delightful off-the-beaten-path find. I found the food a bit expensive, but delicious and fresh. Live music Thursday through Sunday evenings is a special treat. The nights I was there featured various combinations of a drummer from Spain, a singer from Brazil,...

If you're looking for high-rise, air conditioned luxury, stop reading now. But if your idea of a good time is kicking back on the beach, an occasional swim, good food and great margaritas, read on.
