We had our wedding here in February 2013 - with the wedding ceremony and drinks and canapes on the beach, and the reception at Casa Vallejo, a house owned by the owners of Zamas, and just next door. The setting was beautiful, and the organisation on the day was faultless, everything went so smoothly. The food for the wedding dinner...

we have just returned from a fabulous break in Tulum. We stayed at Zamas for the first week and it was everything we had hoped for [ well worth the 1.5hrs transfer from Cancun Airport] we had a cabana on the other side of the road and it was lovely - authentic, comfortable and very clean with a nice setting...

We were staying at another place down the beach, but came here for dinner. Lively scene, friendly, good food and drink. There was live music, and it was a great band - original stuff, not your standard beach-jazz fare. If I go back to Tulum, I'd eat here again.

Simple perfection. We returned to Zamas with glee after a 4 year hiatus. It is still the perfect destination for those of us who don't want an all-inclusive resort experience. The cabanas are wonderful and the restaurant is on the beach which allows for the enormous pleasure of eating every meal with your toes in the warm sands of Mexico....

We fell in love with the place; couldn't be better. Our cabana was in the garden on the beach side, lovely and clean, and we loved relaxing in our hammocks during the day and listening to the waves at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great; we especially enjoyed the guacamole and fresh fish, and the view...

My wife and I stayed at Zamas om Feb. 7 & 8 2013, Loved listening to the surf on the beach at night and toes in the sand during the day at the beachfont Cabanas. The restaurant food and the staff service were fantastic. We'll be back again soon for a longer stay.

I just went for four days to Zamas and fell in love and will totally be back. This is a more rustic vacation then a resort but it is heavenly. We stayed in a second floor room, and I would highly recommend it. We had a view of the ocean and comfortable hammocks to swing from on the balcony. It...

My husband and I stayed February 12 - 16 in a small beachfront cabana, B1 (see room tip). Zamas was beautiful and well managed. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times - Augustine was particularly helpful with local information. Facilities - cabanas, public spaces, and restaurant - were all spotless throughout our trip. Zamas was a good location....

I just visited Zamas Tulum last week and found the place to be magical. My friends and I had a large beach cabana and the accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and steps from the ocean. The staff at Zamas was very friendly and accomodating. One morning I was sitting in a hammock on the front porch of my cabana and one...
