Zamas is a great place to stay in Tulum! The restaurant, beach, hammocks and pool are all convenient for laid back days at the hotel, but it is close enough to other great spots for when you want to venture out. The staff was friendly and helpful the entire time and the rooms were always clean! A warning is that...

Hola! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, from the restaurant, to the beach, to the pool, to the hammocks! I’m sorry to hear about the mosquitos and the heat- September can be quite warm, though it’s a great time for turtle and bird watching! Next time,...

Three friends and I stayed at Zamas for a week. Our room had a lovely wrap around porch, and quite a few windows which was nice for a breeze at night. Our room was right across the street from the Zamas beach and restaurant, which was convenient and also quiet at night. It's also close by lots of good restaurants...

Hola! Thank you for your feedback. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, from the accommodations to the location. I wish the mosquitos hadn't gotten you; they do seem to favor some people over others (I too, am usually a favorite). ZAMAS coexists with the nature around us as much as possible, which means sometimes we have...

We first visited Zamas for breakfast on our first day. Best breakfast in Tulum! They have the best habanero salsa ever! The omelettes and fancy toast were fantastic. So breakfast was great and then we had dinner..... OMG! Romantic setting.... fresh caught fish... candlelight...sand between the toes.... and the best band ever. This was the perfect romantic evening ever. I...

7 night stay over spring break, kids ages 3, 7 & 9 .Clearly most people stay here because there is no availability elsewhere. We stumbled on this place via T&L 100 best hotels in the world, I think Zamas was 34th but I can swear it must have read 100 WORST hotels in the world. The place is run by...

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of March for a wedding on the property, can't comment on wedding prep as I wasn't involved in that. 8 of us stayed in Casa Laura, the farthest house from the main property on the other side of the road. Didn't have a problem at all with the house being across the...

Zamas is a great option when in the zona hoteleria of Tulum. Compared to some accommodation for the same price, Zamas comes out way on top. The bungalow we had on the beach was huge, with a large bedroom and above average sized bathroom. Fresh drinking water provided each day as well as a mosquito net as standard was great....

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in March and out of 3 places we stayed, it was our favourite. We stayed in an Ocean View suite which was HUGE! 2 double beds, and right by the pool, beautiful balcony area with hammocks, and even our own sun beds. The people here were so friendly and really accommodating,...

Our family of 5 ended our six night stay in Tulum with two nights at Zamas, and we all agreed that we wished we had stayed longer! The ocean view room was incredibly spacious and clean. We had a wrap-around balcony with two hammocks facing the ocean across the street. The building is elevated, so we had a nice view...

We arrived quite late and were greeted warmly and our cases were transported to our "hut" in a wheelbarrow! The staff were very helpful and friendly and the accommodation was kept spotless. There is a road which is busy first thing in the morning and early evening but this didn't spoil our enjoyment at all. During our 10 day stay...
