I booked Las Palmas Maya on a recommendation from a friend who has stayed there a couple of times. I was so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Tom & the staff greeted us with smiles and were nothing but the best for our entire stay. The grounds are kept very clean & tidy. The kitchen was very clean too. Bring...

This was my second visit to Palmas in as many years. While Tulum has grown up immensely in the last decade, and priced me out of most beach-side accommodations, Palmas remains a sweet landing pad where you can enjoy the beach, the town, the amazing food, and Tom, of course. Tom makes this sweet place really special with the kind...

We booked last minute and Tom was fantastic at Las Palmas Maya and was able to accommodate us. The hotel has everything you need and is in a great location. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The hotel has bikes for rent and a shared kitchen that all the guests can use.

Tom is an excellent host and manager, with super customer service skills. Rooms are comfortable and location is excellent. However, the place is more a value play rather than objective paradise. Many of the hotels and lodging options on Tulum beach, are very expensive, and offer limited services (i.e. limited electricity, poor wifi, poor water pressure, etc.,). Tom provides 24...

The reviews don't lie, Tom is a wonderful host. This is a fantastic and affordable oasis of fun! I checked out almost every other place on tripadvisor and chose this (like you will) because of the amazing reviews. Believe the hype - we can't wait to go back!!

All the raving reviews about Tom are correct. He is a fantastic host and definitely a huge plus for this place. Unfortunately, the place was a bit too rustic for us. We were in the Treetop suite, which was very noisy. The Beach Road is just outside and it sometimes seemed like the cars and vans driving past were driving...

Hi Michelle, Thank you for your review, we regret that your stay didn't exceed expectations. We really do pride ourselves on being about 1/2 or 1/3rd the price of our competition right across the road and offering twice the amenities. The vast majority of our guests sleep great in all of our rooms and the new mosquito nets just arrived...

This was our 3rd time staying in Tulum. We have stayed at Casa Tankah, Mestizo and now LPM (all ~ same price range). Tankah was not on beach strip, and it’s a pain to drive to get to the strip. Mestizo was a bit further towards the end of the beach. While we had great service at the other two,...

My partner and I stayed here last week, and loved it! We had a large, cool and shady room with a balcony, and a shower that had a decent amount of pressure and warmth (not that easy to get in Tulum!). Tom, the owner of Las Palmas Maya, was on site every day, and made fresh coffee for us each...

We travelled to Tulum for a much needed break before the beginning of the Christmas holidays. We had never been to Mexico and did not want to take the lazy option of going to an all-inclusive resort, as much of what we'd read about the country rather pointed us towards selecting something boutique-like. We couldn't have been more delighted with...

We were so happy to find availability at Las Palmas Maya after reading reviews, The low-key but well thought-out and well-built accommodations seemed just our style.
