I recently took my first trip to Mexico. Staying at Aerolito was a great way to start my travels. Arianne is an incredible host and a very unique person. When you are at Aerolito you may find you feel like you are staying with friends. Things are easy. Every morning we were given a delicious breakfast with coffee, eggs and fresh...

If you are traveling to Tulum, it is a must go to Arianes place. She offers a beautiful garden with 4 very different accommodations, every one is unique. She is a real survivalist and very artistic and everything that she creates she does it with lots of love and creativity! You definitely will feel inspired and free in her environment!!...

Aerolito is a walled compound very near to downtown Tulum. It has a jungle vibe with wonderful vegetation. There are three suites, with another under construction, and Ariane (the owner)'s quarters. She serves a wonderful large breakfast each morning. The property is rustic and charming. I would recommend it to young people on a budget, adventurers, eco-naturists, and explorers. Some...

We stayed in aerolito for 4 nights in the "Casa Alux". Aerolito is just a short walk (maybe 6 mins) from the main street with many great restaurants and the ADO station, which was important to us. Despite some of the other reviews, we found Ariane to be absolutely lovely and helpful. She was always chatting with us and trying...

I contacted Ariane last minute, per the recommendation of friends, and she said she could accommodate. When asked when I would arrive, I said 2pm. It sounded like earlier was better, so I said I could try for 1pm, but definitely by 2 at the latest. We had agreed to that. When I arrived at 2pm on the dot, she...

I enjoyed my first visit to Tulum, and am glad I decided to stay in the city rather than beach road, where the cabanas on the beach are located. More to do in the city, more to explore and far cheaper. Aerolito was a fine place to stay; I'm not one to hang around my hotel when I travel, so...

Aerolito really is the best B&B in Tulum. The places in Tulum town are known for being cheaper than the places near the beach, and Aerolito gives you so much for a really good price. The rooms are spacious and clean, with mosquito nets and fans. We had a private bathroom and kitchen space outside, as well as a terrace...

We really loved this place. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchens are beautiful and unique, it would be possible to stay for weeks. It felt like holiday just being there. The hostess was kind and sympathetic when one of our party suffered from the sun. The bikes made it possible to travel between, town, beach and ceynote with ease. The location...

I just had a wonderful time at Aerolito! The property is a tropical garden, each room has it's unique artistic flare. Like most reviewers, I loved the breakfast - I'm a fan of fresh, ripe tropical fruit - and the friendly knowledgeable hostess, I also enjoyed the convenience of location and the proximity to the beach. I rented a bike...

“Casa Alux is the most rustic, Tree house is unique, but I would return to Rincon Preciosa because it is more private and the newest. There is a fourth suite under construction.”
  • Tree House (Casa Arbolito, I think it is called). Private kitchen below. Bathrooms across path
  • Rincon Preciosa, the most private room, with connecting bath and kitchen.
  • Two private bathrooms serve Casa Alux and Tree House.
  • Casa Alux interior. Bed, desk, shelf, and futon.
  • Casa Alux, the original building on the property, Mayan Casita, 1 open round room.

“The best room was on the ground level in the corner--it had a patio and bathroom and kitchen steps away from the sleeping area. The treehouse was cool if you've never slept in one before.”

“There are three rooms, a tree house, a palapa roofed hut, and another hut. We had the only room without the palapa roof and it was lovely - the others may have been even better, but you can't go wrong. If you are sound-sensitive the crowing roosters and the wind shaking the palms may disturb (we enjoyed these) but there are ear plugs.”

“I loved the Caribbean flare of the "Tree House" room!”
  • This is the entrance to the Treehouse room
  • My husband couldn't resist cutting down some ripe coconuts, and I loved to eat them!
