This place sucked. I can't even be bothered listing the amount of things that were wrong with it but here are some quick things. 1. The room felt like you were in a dungeon .. It was overly dark and the fan made the room hotter 2. Air con was only on between 9pm and 9am and even when it...

The only positive aspect of this hostel was Javier, the front desk guy, who is always very attentive and sincere, and he also served as a spotless maître de chambre. The other person who works at nights, is a snobby Argentinean girl. There's a small mezcal bar above the hostel, so the party goes on until 2:00 AM. Breakfast is...

First of all, we knew we were booking a cheap hostel but this place just sucked. To start there was the LEAST friendly staff EVER!! We caught them once blatantly have a negative conversation about us in front of us! We also had to beg for toilet paper... they were just so rude. Second of all the rooms were horrible,...

Nice place, kind of pricey. Our toilet would not flush, we finally just got in the habit of filing our trash can in the shower to pour into toilet. Would definitely go back, probably just a fluke. Nice pool and good enough location

First I was sleeping there over two night, but I liked it so much and spend one other night there. The vibe and the location are very nice. The bad thing is, I think it is a little bit to expensive and there is a nice kitchen but allowed were only vegetarian food! Thank you :)

Very good, the cereal breakfast was good and always enough for everyone. Great location, close to the ruins and cenotes. However they did not offer the option for two people to share a double bed when booking online! The staff were so friendly and helpful.

I really like this place, but I thought the price was a little high. It was clean and cute, my only huge problem was our toilet. The freaking thing wouldn't flush to save my life. Finally we started gathering water in a trash can to pour in the toilet and that would work. I was worried about the noise, but...

Stayed here for 4 night with a group of friends and we were all excited about the double bed bunks. There is a downstairs seating area, free use of a kitchen, and pretty cool bar upstairs. It's not the cleanest place and the owners aren't the friendliest but overall - okay place. There's a bike rental place next door as...

We spent two nights at chalupa. The air con only runs at night (9am-9pm) but during the day, if you get back from a bike ride and are hot, you can just take a dip in the pool! Not the kind of pool where you want to stick your head in but it's definitely refreshing on a hot day! A...

This is a really great place. Its well and truly worth the money, which is next to nothing. Upon our arrival the staff greeted and spoke with us for a solid half an our about what there is to see and do in tulum, gave us great advice and lent us snorkelling gear free of charge. we intended on staying...
