A cute little beachy hotel but the room we had was close to the street and a generator .....a really lovely room but unfortunately incredibly noisy and made sleeping very tricky. I would ask for a room much closer to the ocean where I am sure it is quieter. We did have a very cozy and comfortable sitting area just...

We have just returned from a stay at the Hotel CalaLuna on the beach in Tulum, Mexico. I cannot say enough nice things about our stay there. We flew into Cancun and opted not to rent a car. I emailed the hotel and asked for their help in arranging transportation. They quickly responded and took care of the arrangements. We...

I had a wonderful stay at CalaLuna. I had reserved a jungle-side standard room, which had plumbing issues. After some discussions with Fernando, the onsite manager, I was bumped up to seaview! The rooms (I got to spend time in both 31 and 24) were beautiful spacious, lots of windows and light, huge comfy beds, and lots of hot water....

We reserved through Expedia. We arrived a day later than expected. I sent an email to Cala Luna, they responded that it was fine, and we came. Presented email at checkin and there was some confusion, but it was quickly sorted out because we had the email printed. We drove (emailed in advance that we'd need parking), found the hotel...

Great little hotel to get away. Available parking and spectacular views. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Shares beach with other surrounding hotels but all accessible. Great places to eat all around the Boca Paila area

This is a gem. A bit rustic (my friend brought enough wipes, cleaners, lights,etc.. you would have thought we were with Dr. Schwietzer) but the room had its own restroom and shower. We had a Royal room that was just off the beach that was always quiet and peaceful there were some topless bathers that didnt bother me but my...

Hotel Calaluna is a great Tulum Homebase. Great location with a private beach, proximity to some of Tulum's best food, and easy access to Downton. The staff is so kind and accommodating. Also great to know you aren't contributing to any environmental degradation while staying there, they go out of their way to take care of their corner of Tulum....

This was my third trip to Tulum. I was here in 2003, 2010 and now 2016. I have watched the beautiful simple stretch of beach become more developed and lively over the course of that time. In choose a hotel, you really need to decide what sort of Tulum experience you wish to have. To me, Tulum is about cabanas...

We had no idea what to expect before arriving and I must say that we were very pleasantly surprised. This was a beautiful place on a private beach. The area had much to offer as well. Our only regret is that we only had one night to stay as Tulum was a stop along our way south. We would definitely...
