I'm not quite sure what to say about this place. The location is great in the road from Tulum to Boca Pailas close to Tulum. In the beach with your room a few steps from it or next to it. There are no walkways, since you get in the hotel you are on the sand and you walk from one...

The Hemingway Romantic Eco Resort is a collection of 25 palapa-roofed cabanas located on a beautiful stretch of sand just 4 kilometers south of the Tulum Archeological site. There are three or four cabanas that actually face the Caribbean and the rest are scattered about the well-maintained grounds. Our cabana (cocodrilo) had a luxurious king-sized bed, elegantly canopied and draped...

My daughter and I just returned home after a 5 day get away in Tulum. We stayed at Hemingway and loved it so much! If you are looking for a "Four Seasons" type of resort, this is not the place for you. However, this place is is so relaxing and so beautiful. We stayed in a Garden View Cabana. It...

We stayed there for 8 nights in February in a jungle lodge. There were many big Iguanas outside the lodges, which was okay. But because the lodge that we stayed in, was in very poor state, the Iguanas came crawling in under holes in the ceiling at all hours of the day - every day(see photos). At one point we...

Hemingway Romantic Eco Resort is a charming and intimate beach hotel for adult travelers seeking quiet and relaxation. No A/C, ceiling fans and elegant bug nets over the bed - it's very peaceful. The staff is attentive to every request. The facility has romantic rooms and simple amenities but the property and the beach are very well maintained. Hemingway is...

Visited with 3 friends in November. We paid for a beach facing hut which was definitely worth it. Lovely to wake up watching the sunrise from bed! The sea was quite noisy in our hut but that didn't bother me. Worth noting is it quite rustic. The hotel is eco meaning there's no electricity between 8am and 5pm, and no...

Top marks for Hemmingway Romantic Eco Resort, wow what a place! The staff were so friendly and the owner were extremly helpful and knowledgable about the area. Everything was clean and neat (including the sand in the resort) and it was such a nice vibe sitting on beachbeds listening to local music from the restaurant. This is great value for...

Hemingway Eco Beach Resort is a unique and charming place to stay. It is right on the ocean/ beach in a beautiful location. The service was good. I would recommend trying the restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. They offered frequent yoga classes. Our instructor was friendly and we all enjoyed her yoga class. The rooms are beautiful. However,...

Well, I'll start to say the obvious good things about this place. The location is great - right on the beach and only 100 metres from the calm sandy beach area. The cabanas are also very good (I wouldn't say awesome...they are showing some minor neglect). We stayed at one located near the road but on the beach side. Not...

Room rate included breakfast, but do not ask for an extra slice of coffee cake. "not available, Senora"Good Mexican coffee; Didn't get a good vibe at this place and would not return. I had stayed at Mayan Tulum in the past and it was wonderful. Everything about it - food, staff, spa treatments. but Hemingways food ok if you like...
