Coco Tulum was amazing! Step out of your door into the sand and down to the water! Only negatives were lots of seaweed one morning and no breeze at night! Obviously neither could be controlled by Coco Tulum! Restaurant was amazing as well!

Stayed 2 nights at coco tulum in one of their small cabanas- close to the beach. Not very large, but clean and cosy. Be aware there is no toilet/ bathroom in the cabanas, but the central ones are clean and beautiful! Definately Recommended!!!

Coco Tulum is the perfect place. I stayed in the tiny one room bungalows on the sand and slept to the sound of the ocean waves purring. The place is basic but clean and designed with good taste. We rented bikes from the hotel and biked everywhere. It's in a great location. I will return one day.

I had the amazing opportunity of getting a reflexology session at the beautiful Coco Hotel in Tulum. Carlos is an awesome therapist who was able to bring me to a state of peacefulness that I hope I can manage to keep for a long time. I recommend this therapy to anyone who needs to let go of a stressful year...

We stayed at Coco during September, which is quite a hot and humid time of year, so it was tough for us to get comfortable, especially at night, but that was no fault of the hotel. The cabanas are beautiful and clean, they include fans but are not air conditioned. There are two chairs, a table and a hammock on...

We've been to Tulum many times but have now found our go-to place to stay with CoCo. We've stayed in many different rooms here and all are equally as nice! The shared bathrooms are spotless! The staff is extremely helpful and the restaurant staff at Diavola were so helpful! Vincent makes the best margaritas! I would recommend this place to...

I spent three nights here in one of the cabanas close to the beach. They were well decorated, quiet, and very comfortable. I didn't mind the walk to the bathroom as it felt like camp and the white sandy paths were very welcoming. The sinks with the shells were gorgeous and the bathrooms were clean. I also loved the outdoor...

I stayed in this hotel in August 2015 and I believe it's nice cause it has nice rooms with little individual terraces, a nice beach and i liked to walk in the sand paths all around the facilities. Don't get me wrong with the ratings, I really like this kind of "connected with nature" places however it is far too...

We stayed here for five nights and it was great. The rooms were clean: we had fresh towels and water every day. Staff were fantastic and helpful for finding us taxis and recommending places to go nearby. The location is incredible - only a few steps away from the beach and clear waters. There are a lot of people talking...

I enjoyed my stay immensely! I have stayed twice now and have enjoyed my stay each time. The cabin was beautiful!! The beds are amazing nothing better than falling asleep in the comfy pillows and bed to the sound of the ocean. If your not an early riser you will be here.. As you see the most amazing sunrises out...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Coco Tulum Hotel is a boutique hotel at Tulum beach where you will find comfortable and stylish cabañas located a few steps from the ocean. Coco's restaurant, Juanita Diavola, churns out fresh pizzas from our brick oven and smoothies of fresh juices. The pasta is handmade in our kitchen, and the chef serves specialties like tuna and beef carpaccio. The relaxed ambience is perfect to sit with a glass of wine or meet some fellow travelers at the bar. Designed as an eco-village Hotel, we generate enough electricity to power all fans and low-wattage lights of the Hotel - much more would only contribute to the end of the world. Our two wind turbines and 24 solar panels generate more than 14,000 watts x day. ... more   less
