I stayed at Las Ranitas with my four children and we were all disappointed. It was an expensive resort and it definitely was not worth the money. We ate in the restaurant on three occasions and each time the service was slow and we had to ask for a menu and to make our orders. The room had a single...

Arrival was welcoming and they expected us - always a good sign! The hotel, grounds and room were all as expected from their website. The view from the room was superb, the shower room spacious and everywhere was clean. When it rained heavily a small amount of water came though the roof light into the shower room, so no problem....

I haven't actually been here but, after all the great reviews, I was getting excited about going here! I went online to look at their reservations for 2015 and, after chatting with their reservations specialist because they looked booked throughout the entire year, she mentioned that they will be closing for renovations from March-December 2015. This was posted anywhere on...

We visited Tulum in June when it was hit by a storm that almost got to hurricane level. The eco-boutique experience was not completely waterproof and the wind and rain swept through the grounds and some of the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful and managed the situation very well, but at the same time you have to...

We have been coming to Tulum for over a decade and have seen the "strip" surge with new restaurants and resorts by the year. Some, are very good now with great food but the long wait for tables or the service can be a turn off particularly during the High Holiday Season. And be warned: parking your rental car can...

I didn't stay here but they have a great space and beach. The yoga studio is amazing and has the best instructor. The service in the restaurant is not good. We ate once and felt like we were doing them a favor by eating there. Attempted again and felt the same so we left. Maybe because we weren't staying there?...

i recently visited Tulum for the first time and was fortunate enough to come across Las Ranitas. The boutique hotel is quaint, luxurious but not pretentious, the staff is amazing, the beach beautiful, the rooms perfect, and on and on and on. The grounds are beautiful and the location is great because it is a bit on the edge of...

Warm welcome on late arrival and taken to wonderful Suite (definitely worth paying for the higher quality suites and making sure you are not off reception). The open vista of the reception and restaurant are stunning. The staff worked every morning to clear the seaweed and the beach was clean and tidy (which was my greatest concern before the holiday)....

Stunning beach. No, I mean beyond stunning beach. Every morning during my stay I took my French Press and coffee cup down to the beach. The best way to begin any day. The location is perfect. Close to many restaurants, bars, cute little clothing shops. The restaurant is good. Cocktails are top notch. Fresh juices, coffee, wines. The seafood was...

I consider myself somewhat a Tulum veteran. I've traveled there several times for fun, retreats, and to host my own fitness and yoga retreats. I've stayed at several different places throughout Tulum. Between my boyfriend (whos been traveling to Tulum for 10+ years) and myself, we've been all over Tulum. I can confidently without a doubt say that Las Ranitas...
