Our stay at the Secret Garden was outstanding. We were greeted by Matias when we arrived, he sat us down with a map and started pointing out places he thought we might enjoy. Restaurants, Cenotes, secluded beach spots, mojitos and sunset locations. We used this map a as a reference for our whole visit and were never dissapointed. Matias and...

We stayed in the apartment which is on the other side of town from the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to the shops and restaurants. The apartment is clean and comfortable. We rented bikes and could easily travel between town, the cenotes, the beach and the ruins. We spent the second half of our vacation on the...

My partner and I stayed there on our long drive down to Mahahaul/Bacalar, in February. We had been in Tulum before, but never stayed in town. It truly was lovely, refreshing place. The staff were very helpful and knowledgable and I loved having breakfast in the garden in the morning.

I stayed at this darling little place on a girl's trip in Feb 2017. The price was right so we could all book our own rooms which was nice to have some quiet time to ourselves. We loved the location of this little oasis, in the middle of town but private and peaceful. It was walking distance to shops and...

The best thing about Secret Garden is the staff: we asked for the best tips around the area and we got all we needed and more! Especially our host Matias was super helpful - we asked him things to do that are relaxed, easy, cultural and local and what we ended up doing was: bike rental, cenotes, a lagoon, good...

We stayed at Secret Garden for two weeks in January. It's a cute little place with a wonderful garden which provides cozy little lounges for some piece and quiet. The staff is the most friendly and helpful people one could meet. Itzel brightens the place with her beautiful smile and she has been tremendous in helping us with absolute everything...

Stayed here for a week in February 2017. If you're looking for a place in town, and want something different, a little rustic but comfortable, this is a great choice. It's only two blocks from the main road, and three blocks from the bus station, but it felt like another world. As soon as you enter through the gate, you're...

The hotel is concealed in a small street in two blocks from a downtown. It's hard to imagine that when you open a gate you can arrive inside a meditative beautiful garden area. Room was enough spacey with two beds in visually separated areas. There was a powerful conditioner. Owner is really helpful and hospitable. Bathroom is small but clean....
