A small charming hotel in downtown Tulum. Attention to all details, Immaculate, friendly, kitchen area available. Hostess concerned with every clients wishes. a very peaceful and calm place to stay after busy days.

after staying in one of Tulum beach's "hotels", we quickly escaped! We arrived at Villa Matisse and it was such a relief! Nice staff, lovely rooms, clean! Nice outdoor kitchen, bikes are available to cycle to the ruins! Good location in town, next to many restaurants...and in front of a laundry!!(practical!)

Me et my girlfriend were first at the local hostel for three days or four days. I think I got biten by bed bugs there and we left and stayed in another hotel up the street for one night then moved to the Hotel Matisse. What a relief. The lady running the place was great and very friendly. she had...
