So beautiful place to disconnect from the daily routine. YOGA in the morning with nice and friendly teachers, amazing BREAKFASTS all together with the other guests, chatting around the table under the shade of tall palms and PEACEFUL nights accompanied by the sound of the WAIVES. Beautiful!

My husband and I have been going to Tulum since 2003 and we just returned from our 4th trip to Olas. For those who remember what Tulum used to be like, Olas is one of the remaining vestiges of old Tulum (with maybe a few more perks and luxuries). We keep going back because it takes us back to what...

Casa de las Olas is not typical of Tulum. I feel we were very lucky to find it as it does not publicise itself on the main road. No one else we met on the way had heard of it before and this made it extra special. We are now making a point of telling all of our family and...

Stunning, simple and un-pretencious. Casa de las Olas is the last place on the beach before the bio-reserve. It is tucked away, there are no signs on the main road, nobody walking in and nosying about- it is just a tranquil hideaway, far removed from the bustle and business of the main beach road. The rooms were clean and comfortable,...

Not only a beautiful hotel with everything you need, Casa de las Olas also focuses on the sustainability of the hotel and is run off solar power. On top of this, the location is perfect - just close enough to the Tulum beach strip fun but far enough away if you want to escape it. And on top of all...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in July and had a very nice stay. The suite we were in was very beautiful and came with fresh flowers on the table, every detail was carefully planned out. What made this hotel so fantastic was the staff! Lulu made the most amazing breakfast and delicious lunch I have ever...

Wouldn't stay anywhere else! From the staff there to greet me when I arrived, to the beautiful rooms, amazing views, right on the beach, and delicious food prepared every morning by Lulu every detail of my stay was attended to. I loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. It was the perfect place...

Great place and amazing people, very friendly and accommodating. Even the dog and cat are welcoming. We had a very relaxing time which was much needed, and We would go back in a heartbeat. Only suggestion would be better wifi in beach front rooms and maybe more lighting at night in communal areas to encourage quiet socialising. Otherwise, perfect.

It is a super cool place far from the civilization. Jimmy is super helpful. He will not bother you offering extra services but if you fell like having a massage or a yoga class at the beach he will organize it right away. Just be ready to bring enough cash to pay your room and all extra services.

I visited Casa de las Olas with my family for 6 days and had a wonderful time. Jimmy, Bear, and Sam were what truly made the stay so special. Their hospitality makes every guest feel at home and relaxed and do a great job of getting all the hotel talking. Breakfast is served communally every morning and includes fresh fruit...
