I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We had a really nice big room (no15), decent wifi, air con and a good TV with decent movies for the hotel days in when the weather wasn't great. The location was perfect, less than 5 minute walk to the main strip with all the bar and restaurants on and less than 10 minutes to...

Absolute pleasure we stayed for 10 nights. The breakfast was indeed exactly that toast, cereal, juice and coffee. The pool was always clean by the assigned opening times and the staff where awesome, perfect location just around the corner from all of the best restaurants 5th less than 200m away. Opposite end to the parks and all inclusive places to...

Toast and coffee... that's called "refreshments" not "breakfast". Advertising it any differently is a scam. Another guest said that the coffee tasted like death. The owner hangs around the place a lot but doesn't lift a finger. She doesn't help at all. She just sat on her butt and told us to wait 5 minutes for someone to come check...

First things first the hotel is in a great location close to Quinta avenida and reasonable walking distance to a very good beach spot. We stayed in room #3 which was clean and very accessible since we were right by the pool. The pool is small but was perfect for our little ones. We did see the pool guy come...

Will be here for 4 nights in April 2016, so just last week, the Hotel is as in the pictures, just a little bit older , everything basic, nothing fancy, you pay what you get, BUT, if your reason to pick an hotel is like ours, a place to sleep, take a shower and storage your belongings in a great...

Good location. 10 mins walk to the beach. Room was spacious, had a fridge and A/C. Nice big balcony. Staff was helpful and nice. Especially the cleaning lady was lovely:) The pictures don`t tell the truth about the place though. Pool is small, no sun beds. The hotel dog swam in it when no one was watching. Did not mind...

Let me start by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this quaint hotel. It had all the essentials that one needs to travel. Especially if you are going on tours and exploring around and don't plan on just chilling at the hotel. If you are interested in tours ask Jeanette because she really will give you the best deal,...

We needed a place to stay for one night so we picked this place because of the friendly price. The staff was very friendly and helpful rooms are a little run down but that's to be expected for a hotel this old. Rooms where clean but bed only had a sheet with no blanket thought that was a little odd....

The rates change dramatically from what I've read. Christmas week was over $250 US per night, but everything's expensive then. Everything's pretty basic, from the pool to the breakfast to the room. Nice courtyard. This area of Playa del Carmen is really picking up. Some nice restaurants nearby.

My wife and i stayed for a few day and ended up changing hotels, not because it was bad or anything, but because the room was kind of depressingly dull. I guess we can say the climate was also not helpful due to plenty of rain.
