I would have to say Luna Blue is not a bad place to stay while in Playa. I wouldn’t consider it exceptional, it was clean and the staff was helpful. For the price I found many other properties as nice or nicer. Playa is a great place to visit!

My daughters and I stepped off of the hot street into the mini oasis of Luna Blue. Their "lobby" is a beautiful, tree filled courtyard w/ a waterfall. It seemed to be 20 degrees cooler there, even though we were still outdoors. We stayed in a room w/ a kitchenette. It was perfect for us. Very clean and cool. We...

We had an excellent stay at the Luna Blue. It is a small hotel in the town of Playa built in the classic Hacienda style with central enclosed courtyard and garden. Each room is different from the others. The staff was friendly and happy to share advice. This is a lovely place to stay if you are trying to avoid...

As everyone has mentioned this is a beautiful hotel. My company had a trip to Playa and stayed in a very nice all inclusive hotel and I moved to Luna Blue for the second (vacation) week of my visit. Right away I felt at home. The location is great and the staff is very helpful. It will make planning my...

I stayed in the standard room of the Luna Blue Hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel is walking distance from La Quinta Avenida (for great shopping and meals), and like 2 blocks from one of the MOST beautiful beach spot in Playa. You get the benefit of using free chairs and umbrellas @...

This is a clean, small hotel around a nice garden. It is a 3 block walk to the beach and a within one block of the main drag in Playa. although far enough away from the most touristy part that it's not too loud at night. The room was simple and on the small side but very clean and comfortable....

As all of the other guests have mentioned - the Luna Blue Hotel & Gardens is beautiful place to stay and the location could not be better. When we checked in we were suprised to learn that Tony & Cheri gave us a room up grade at no charge - nice way to start a 4 night visit. We went...

Our second stay at Luna Blue, July 13-22, was even better than the first visit last October. We stayed in the Kitchen deluxe room (#7) for 9 nights. Loved having the option to cook once in awhile - even if it was just heating up the left overs from Babes or El Fagon or having coffee brewing right away in...

Toni's restaurant recs were superb!! The blueberry margs (Cheri Size) at Babes were muy delicioso. My fiance and I stayed at an all inclusive the first 5 nights and wanted...

Luna Blue has a stellar reputation, and it didn't disappoint! The pictures of the rooms on the website do not do it justice - everything is extremely comfortable and the furnishings and design were far better than we expected. Definitely the nicest place I've stayed in Mexico, and also the cheapest! The wonderful owners, Toni and Cheri, upgraded us from...
