We had a room with double beds. There was not a lot of space outside of that. The bathroom and closet size were OK. The rooms were clean but the beds were uncomfortable. The staff was not welcoming, and the "ocean view" had a lot full of junk (literally) in front of the hotel. Good location though.

This is our second time back to this little jem. Nice big, clean rooms. We had a Jr. Suite which was quite large and had a bar area with fridge coffee maker and extra sink. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is top notch Close to everything See you next year!

We came across this little hotel after renting a car in cancun with no particular itinerary. Once arriving in Playa this was the first hotel we checked out and we liked the looks of it. We continued to look at 4 more hotels. All of them more expensive, worse locations and no where near as clean inside. So we ran...

Great location, good value, comfy beds, and a nice clean pool. Everything you need in Playa. You still get a peaceful nights rest as it somehow manages to be quiet despite being nestled between the beach and the nightlife!

The rooms are clean and comfortable, quiet even though you are in the heart of the market. Cute little refreshing pool. There is a beach view but not before quite a crappy garbage area. Don't know what that's about. However for the price it's nice and close to all shopping and dining

Casa Melissa was a last minute booking for us and was chosen mainly for the price and location. It does not have any amenities specifically, but we didn't care because of the amazing location. The room turned out to exceed our expectations! It was clean, had a comfortable bed, and had a great view. We had an A/C issue the...

Casa Melissa has no restaurant neither any breakfast and that is clear when booking so no judgment on that. The rooms are ok for a family 2+2 and we got a nice balcony with a nice view towards Cozumel. The staff is very service minded and the cleaning is very good. The rooms are well equipped with bott cofe machine...

If you are a first time traveler, or you want to stay somewhere local and don't know where to go, look no further! This was my first trip to Playa del Carmen, and I wanted to see more than just a resort. First of all, this hotel's location couldn't be better. Walk outside and to the left is the beach...

The room is nice. Location is excellent if you want to get a good sleep and still be 3 blocks away from the night life! The beach is a few meters away so that's another plus! The swimming pool is really small, it looks so much bigger in the pictures but it was enough for me, my husband and our...

Overall a relaxing stay at casa melissa for 5 nights. Major pluses for the property include proximity to Ado bus station (literally about 10 feet away so great if you have luggage); proximity to the beach & live music beach bar Wah Wah about 12 feels away and steps also to the Cozumel ferry and park fundadores. We had some...
