A small place, with nothing to mention but the large and deep swimming pool. I came here for the first time over 10 years ago and it is still the same. Playa on the other hand is changing so rapidly. Still dominated by fairly small hotels and we always have La Tarry, for perfectly nice seafood on the beach at...

this hostel is a great option, we spent 5 nights and it was great. The location is pretty good and near to the bus station to Tulum and other places. We took a private room with ac, and it was cleaned daily, they gave us clean towels everyday. The internet worked well and they have safes por you to store...

Very attractive clean hotel. Lovely cafe at the front entrance with very yummy food. Our room was large with comfortable beds, wifi, and reasonable bathroom. Room was serviced daily. Thank god for the pool though as the rooms were very hot. Found out on the last day I could have paid a little extra for air-con. Great location, only a...

I enjoyed my 3 nights here. It's a convenient location for the shops, beach and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the food good. I smiled at my Jungle Book themed room which was big and comfortable but didn't have aircon and so it was very hot.

Note: I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour that I had booked through Intrepid. This hotel is in a very good location as it is a short walk away from 5th Avenue which is the main touristy street and to the beach. It looked a little small from the outside but it was quaint and cute with...

Casa Tucan is a colourful and quirky property with close proximity to the lively 5th avenue. The staff here were fantastic with excellent English and very happy to assist in booking up taxis and assisting with a matter of needs. The rooms were fairly small but fine for a few nights stay. There was no air conditioning in our room...

The hotel is clean. The rooms are adequate. The maid staff is friendly. I have been coming to this hotel for a few years. It has its strengths and weaknesses. The hotel changed their booking process and now you have to pay a deposit. My reservation was for October but plans fell through and I had to change to February....

Stayed here with my husband and intrepid tour group and what a quirky little hotel indeed it is. Free wifi, lovely little cafe/bar downstairs , pool and quite little hammocks, balconies and individually themed rooms. It's so nice to be close to the beach and all the action, but yet have peace and quite away from The craziness. Nice service...

Casa Tucan has been my favorite spit for 7 years now, from 1 week with my adult children, to 3 weeks with just my husband. Nicole, Daniel, Roberto and the staff makes me feel welcome and cared for. Nothing fancy, but very welcoming - I can't wait to return next year!
