My husband and I stayed there before Christmas. Location: A few blocks to the Benito Juárez Avenue where you can find taxis to the quinta avenida and near Nativos for fresh natural juices. Front desk: very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and tips to move around like locals do. Premises: VERY CLEAN. There is always someone cleaning during the...

We stayed he a while back but I was a memorably wonderful experience. Lovely guests and owner, really neat building. It is not your cookie cutter plastic big box hotel, it is personal and delightful. I was afraid it would be too far from downtown but it is not.

Wow! This place rocked! We had the cabin in front of the pool. It had 2 beds with mosquito nets. A nice bathroom. Lots of storage and closet space. Table and chairs. Lots of light and windows with shutters. A small but functional kitchenette. Great breakfast. Common area with a couch, hammocks and tables and chairs. All poolside. We loved...

Great to find such an oasis of calm in Playa del Carma. Rooms well equipped and clean. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Room large ground floor with en suite air con and large drinking water dispenser. Located on the south west side of town, a five minute drive from the beach front. Car recommended but I'm sure it's easy enough...

Loved this authentic, individual B&B. The owner is as friendly and helpful as you can imagine and her staff are the same. The breakfast was decent and the rooms are gorgeous. There were a few creepy crawlies but that's normal in tropical climates. Having the pool was a refreshing and surprising addition. It's not really close to the hustle &...

I stayed for three weeks and loved this place. Really nice staff, they clean the property several times a day. The breakfast is being served in the kitchen every morning, including pancakes on some days and eggs on others. Rooms are lovely and big. I can highly recommend it!

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was really good, the room was spacious and clean (although we saw 2 big cucarachas on the floor). I really appreciated the fact we had a big bottle of water in our room during our stay. The decoration makes one feels at home. I liked the hammocks area. It's just 10 blocks...

The two bedroom/bathroom apartment was very comfortable. Cleaned every day. Outstanding value compared to similarly priced lodging in downtown Playa. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bit out of the way, but therefore very quiet - and for 5/30 pesos by collectivo/taxi you're in the center in 5 minutes. Also convenient for day trips towards the south; collectivos stop just a...

Vanessa is a brilliant host, super friendly and helpful. The B&B house has a stunning interior. The bedrooms, kitchen and pool were always clean. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the beach but they have bikes for rent and it's much quieter staying a little out of town. There was lots of fridge/food storage space and the supermarket is just...

I spent 4 weeks at Casaejido in December/January. Playa del Carmen is busy, and crowded and expensive that time of year, but Casa Ejido was quiet, laid-back and affordable. I wouldn't hesitate to spend my vacation there again. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. I especially liked the kitchen because I could store some food there and prepare most...
