I was there in November 2016 with two friend for one week. Our room was really great. With a kitchen, cutlery, a small balcony and - very important - a clean bathroom. The owner of this place (unfortunately I forgot her name :P) is a really nice, helpful and open person. She speaks at least 3 languages fluently (english, spanish,...

It's been my third stay at Hotel Colorado since my first stay in September 2013. What I like the most about this hotel is its charming ambiance, cute patio next to a colourful, snail-like staircase to access the rooms on the upper floors. I have never been disappointed with my stay. The owners, especially Jacqueline are extremely friendly. They are...

I stayed for 5 nights as solo traveller and feel like stay at a warm and cozy home of the owners. They are welcoming and happy to answer if I have question about transportation etc. Very reasonable price, clean room, safe when I walk around at early morning and night, good location that is not far away from 5th Avenue,...

I stayed at Hotel Colorado in November 2015. I was in Playa Del Carmen to volunteer in a child care program for two weeks and stayed at this hotel before the program started. GVI recommended this hotel to me as a single traveler and also for its location and reasonable price. I am really happy they did. I felt very...

A return visit for one of my girlfriends so this hotel came highly recommended. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was visually attractive and greeted by Cord the manager upon arrival. Our room was so perfect and the wifi was easy and speedy. The hotel felt very safe and location was also perfect - a 5 minute...

My girlfriend and I spent 5 night in Hotel Colorado. We left with mixed feelings. In general the place was nice and clean, but we were suffering from a lot of noise from our surroundings. We were in the ground floor and we woke up because of the dogs of the neighbours, our neighbours upstairs moving chairs around or workers...

I am headed to Hotel Colorado for I believe either my third or fourth stay. Love both families that operate the hotel. I like going near the end of one month and part of a new month so I get to see and say hello to both families as they switch between their home and the hotel each month. They...

So glad I moved hostels to Colorado. Small, quiet and clean- 5 minute walk from the beach and 5th avenue. Best wifi I have had in Mexico! Perfect for tourists on a budget! Booked one night there and ended up spending 16 days. Best accom in Mexico by a long shot, couldn't recommend highly enough!

Hotel Colorado is an affordable, simple, and charming hotel located off the tourist track in Playa del Carmen. It is situated in a quieter neighbourhood away from the noise and busyness of Playa’s Fifth Avenue, but still in a convenient location to the beach (three blocks), banks, shopping, restaurants and the ADO bus terminal (five blocks). I stayed at Hotel...
