We originally booked for 3 nights and stayed for 5. Our little apartment was on the top floor next to the patio area. We had a little kitchenette with everything we needed to cook meals. The bathroom had hot and cold water. Two single beds that we pushed together and a very new, efficient air con. The cleaning ladies were... More

This was the perfect place for us in Playa del Carmen, just a few blocks back from the beach and 5th avenue but surrounded by cheap local eateries. Our room had a kitchenette and its own little outdoor patio, we booked for 3 nights and stayed 5 we enjoyed it that much.

Quietest place in Playa, but centrally located mere steps from the beach. Everything within easy reach & a most charming & helpful host. Some rooms have stoves, just like home, only cheaper. Second floor has nice Patio where you can eat or meet some other guests.

I can't say enough good things about this simple and colorful small hotel. It makes me love this town and I dream to return often. The friendly owners and staff make you feel right at home. It is super clean and safe. The onsite owners can provide information you may need for visiting nearby attractions. They speak English, Spanish and... More

I have been in Playa del Carmen and it is not the my type of holidays place, as I like less touristic places. But my mother wanted to go there so we stayed in this hotel and the girl working there was so nice and cool that I started to like Playa del Carmen. She made us feel very welcome... More

Unfortunately we were only in town for one evening, but we really loved our stay here. Our room was very clean, we had a small kitchen, air conditioning, and a little front patio. The owner\manager was extremely helpful, and the location was perfect, especially if you dont have transportation. We will definitely stay here again.

I was there in November 2016 with two friend for one week. Our room was really great. With a kitchen, cutlery, a small balcony and - very important - a clean bathroom. The owner of this place (unfortunately I forgot her name :P) is a really nice, helpful and open person. She speaks at least 3 languages fluently (english, spanish,... More

It's been my third stay at Hotel Colorado since my first stay in September 2013. What I like the most about this hotel is its charming ambiance, cute patio next to a colourful, snail-like staircase to access the rooms on the upper floors. I have never been disappointed with my stay. The owners, especially Jacqueline are extremely friendly. They are... More

I stayed for 5 nights as solo traveller and feel like stay at a warm and cozy home of the owners. They are welcoming and happy to answer if I have question about transportation etc. Very reasonable price, clean room, safe when I walk around at early morning and night, good location that is not far away from 5th Avenue,...
