You get what you pay for. This hotel is cheap so you cannot expect much. They were friendly and the room was clean and semi nice. The AC worked very well, This hotel is a few steps from 5th Avenue, the hub of tourist walking and shopping eating and clubs. The beds were hard!

A group of friends & I checked into this hotel for one night en-route to Cozumel, we arrived late in the evening to Cancun Airport and didn't want to be in a rush to catch the last ferry so we spent the night in Playa Del Carmen The price was great I booked through Expedia for about $50 CAD for...

The air conditioner worked, the linens were reasonably clean, and they do have someone come by to clean every day. However, the bedding is plastic lined, the balcony doors don't seal and let in the noise of all the nearby bars (which stay open until 6am), the bathroom was mildewy and I'm not sure that security is a high priority....

This is the second time I stay here! It is cheap, close to everything, and staff is very nice! Clean rooms and pleasant smell. :) Don't expect the Ritz. Always remember you get what you paid for. :) hot water, safe, a/c, cable. It does get loud at night, due to the bars next door, but nothing that bothered me...

terrible service, theres a lot of noise all day and night. dont worth the price, dont go there. i pay 105 dollar a day with that price you can get somthing better, at late night you can see prostitutes in the receptionist looking for men for sex.

I was there in 2010, the stuff were so nice and gentle, trying to make you feel confortable. The rooms and the kitchen were clean, but the best is the terrace and the whole atmosphere. I really recommend this place.

There really isn't any other cheap options with this kind of a location. We just needed to stay for a night and it is close to the bus station. It is too bad that they don't take better care of this property and clear out some of the rif-raf. It would be best to pay a little more and walk...

The girl that checked me in was very very nice and helpful. The rooms are very basic but ok. Wifi is pretty much terrible and only works in the lobby area. Good location right near the action. A bit expensive for privates.

I’ve stayed at Maria Sabina several times a year, for the last 3 years, and plan to keep going back. Its location, the great people it attracts and the low price are just a few of the great things about it. Don't expect a 5star, and if you're a light sleeper think about packing your earplugs, remember IT'S A HOSTEL!...
