The hotel is intimate with just 8 rooms. It is beautifully appointed. The staff was tremendously helpful and friendly. Located just blocks from the main plaza, it is very walkable and convenient to many plazas and attractions. Draws visitors from all over the world so it was interesting to interact with different nationalities.

We stayed for 2 nights. Clean ,simple and elegant. Great service. 5 short blocks from the main square. We were there on sunday, the food in the square and free cultural shows were amazing. It was fun to see families having a good time. wish I spoke spanish!Helpful in suggestions for restaurants. They also arranged for transportation to the airport.

Don't be put off by the outside and location because once inside its like an oasis. Fantastic service..the staff can't do enough for you, great breakfast and what a terrific place Merida is. We were there in late November/December and everynight/day there was something going on in the city and when we left we felt that there was still so...

Merida is an amazing city, but when you're travelling in any busy town it's nice to have a refuge where you can escape the hectic activity of the town. For us, Hotel Hacienda Merida provided this perfectly. The courtyard pool area is the real gem of the hotel which is idyllic by day and by night when lit up, sitting...

We stayed here for 2 nights and chose it on the trip advisor reviews. Found the hotel to be exactly as the positive reviews stated with accommodation and staff excellent with good advice on eating nearby and help with finding our way around the general area

We choose this hotel for one night based on tripadvisor reviews. Location is fine, and the inner court is as fine as it looks on the offical photos. However, there were severe problems * The toilet went over in the night due to a problem with plumbing - this seems to happen often, as the staff told us. They worked...

I arrived in Mérida on a very hot and humid night in August about 4 years ago. None of the places in my Lonely Planet guide had rooms with a/c. Hotel Hacienda Mérida had one room available. I was planning on three nights, but spent a week. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I made a good friend with one...

Hotel Hacienda Merida is a small 8 room hotel located just a few short blocks from the Centro Cathedral and marketplace. It is not a luxury hotel; rooms are modest in decor and very well maintained. What makes this hotel exceptional is location and service. Enri works the front desk and is also the hotel's part time bartender. The first...

We had a great stay at this hotel & would recommend without hesitation. It is perfectly located, just a short walk from either the main square or Paseo de Montejo. Rooms were clean & comfortable, & the service was fantastic. the only concerns we had were that the internet , although free, was intermittantly slow and that we had problems...

So we typed t three properties on trip to Yucatan peninsula, this one, Hacienda San Jose and Westin Lagunamar. The other two properties are "Top" properties on TripAdvisor having one awards for bet in class. WHATEVER. Those two are beautiful, look fancy but management is MIA and service and attentions to detail non-existent. THIS property is amazing and one of...
