Just recently stayed at this hotel. We booked a room with a king bed for $900 pesos. The room was super small, with a small bath. it was nearly impossible to turn around, especially from the bath, that is how small the space was. The room was a little dirty with no bottled water. We asked to be changed to...

My wife and I, we have tried to sleep in this hotel the night of February 14, 2015. Our room was the N° 309, dirty as by photos attached, mostly the bathroom. We had noise from the street and manly from the patio during the night. Music at high volume, until 3 am, from the patio. Noises from the kitchen,...

We wanted our kids to get to know a different side of Mexico, not just the fabulous beaches, but also the cities that keep the country moving forward. This year we chose Merida and we loved it. This hotel was perfect for us; a mom, a dad, a nine year old boy and a seven year old boy. They were...

the hotel is in a great location. I love the Plaza and for this reason I selected this hotel. The building is beautiful. The garden and pool area is charming. I "splurged" on the Presidential suite....I was happy to have a larger room. I knew I would not be using the bathtub, but I may have been a bit disappointed...

For as much as this place probably offers average "value" in Merida, nothing about this hotel is average. All five couples in our birding group had some great things to say about this place, but still tended to focus on the quirks, although not in a complaining way. There was only one light switch in our room located so high...

We stayed here for one night in December. We had two families of five each and arrived late at night. The staff were very helpful and kind. They carried all our luggage up to our third floor rooms for us. We loved the old wood doors and architecture of the hotel! After reading all the reviews, I was expecting a...

First of all, I have to say the excellent service started even before we arrived. I had a few questions which were all answered promptly by Carlos, the hotel manager. This put me completely at ease (we were staying over Xmas) even though Hotels.com (who we booked through) gave me a scare a couple of days before arriving. I would...

I think I now get it! It's a hotel and a boutique. For some reason, I thought they considered themselves a boutique hotel! I apologize for that lapse. Let me address the hotel part first: the hotel is located right off the main square. It's a very old building and it is gorgeous! People have criticized the rooms. I thought...
