I had the pleasure to stay there for a week while taking a course on Mayan Cosmology and I found it to be perfect for my trip. Wilbur & family make you feel like one of their own and safe while their guests. The building itself is not much to view from the outside but when you cross over it...

We met our children in Merida for ecotouring in nw Yucatan. Our daughter lives and works in Guadalajara, found the Casa Sacnicte. It turned out to be the perfect choice for our off tract touring of Mayan sites and wildlife in the area northwest of Merida. Our room was immaculate. The plumbing, wiring and air conditioning all worked flawlessly. The...

My husband and I met up with my parents in Merida to begin a week vacation together. We originally only booked two nights, but decided that it's central location was easy to accommodate our travels in the area, and added another night. Wilbur's hospitality was great. He had recommendations for daily outings, and we enjoyed talking with him. Our room...

Stayed with husband and teenage daughters in March 2009 for 4 nights. Clean, safe and serene B&B. Owners treated us like family and made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Lovely breakfast to start the day. B&B located within walking distance to square/playa. Home away from home. Gracias!

We very much enjoyed the hospitality of Wilbur and his family, at the Sac Nicte. Rooms were comfortable and clean The back terrace was a delightful place to have a drink in the evening or to escape the noisy streets of Merida. Breakfast was plentiful, with large bowl of fruit, yogurt, toast and pastries, and all the coffee you can...

We had an excellent stay at Casa Sacnicte. The proprietor was very helpful, from housing our rental car safely on the property to providing us with a very early and ample breakfast the day of our departure. When the breakfast room was full on another day, he graciously served us on the patio in back. Our room (#7) was spacious...

My wife is from Merida and generally we would always stay with her family, but getting ready for our wedding, we needed a refuge that was central and Casa Sacnicte was it! Once there, we recommended it to my best man and cousins. Simply put, it is a lovely B&B, centrally located, with excellent rooms (we were upstairs with the...

This B&B is only a short stroll to the main plaza, which is a great place to hang out on a Sunday afternoon. The room was large and clean, and the breakfast was adequate. The owner was very helpful and let me call a mobile number from the hotel phone and didn't charge me.

4 of us (2 in our 50's and 2 in their 30's) stayed at this wonderful little place after a recommendation from the owner of our bed and breakfast in Tulum. Don't let the front fool you....it's like walking through the closet in Narnia...the outside is pretty uninviting but the inside is really a charming oasis ....and the owners warm...

We stayed for Dec. 29,30 and 31 2008. Our room was probably the pick of the hotel. Roomy with terrace over very noisy street. The beds were good, the breakfast was satisfactory and the family friendly. Room was adequate and clean and breezy. We read TripAdvisor prior to booking and selected here due to high rating. Having visited Merida for...
