My girlfriend and I stayed at Nomadas for 2 nights and were really happy when we left. The facility is mainly run down, despite new appartments behind the pool. We had a lot of insects in our appartment due to a broken mosquito net, which was only fixed upon complaining. The pool pictures are missleading as it was so dirty... More

It was a good stay in general, have lot of space in the dorm and it is clean. The swimming pool is exceptional. Nice breakfast for hostel and nice cleaning staff. However reception staff were really not friendly at all. Convenient location. Just a bit noisy to sleep as everything is open area.

Unfortunately this hostel didn't live up to our expectations from the good reviews. We were in a private room which had unpainted concrete walls and was opposite a construction site. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet properly and fell inside the toilet bowl every time you sat on it. There were no blinds on the windows so we had... More

We stayed in the dorms. The hostel is really clean and the dorms are big, the girls dorm even has a big bathroom inside with showers and toilets. Relaxing at the pool, away from the heat of Mérida's streets was the best part (and the free salsa course!) - and meeting travellers from all over the world :). Their rules... More

Reasonably priced private rooms, very clean and pool was amazing. Staff are really helpful and even give you a list of things to do like ceñotes and caves as well as restaurants and beaches. Hammocks are a massive plus and air con available if requested. Would definitely stay again. Also Merida is a really nice place

Positives: The swimming pool is nice. The location is decent - short walk to main square and near to several restaurants and bars. Negatives: The rules are forced upon you as soon as you enter the hostel. After going through what felt like customs to check in you have to pay 100 peso deposit for a key and 50 for... More

This hostel is pretty average. The dorm rooms are a bit squished with overwhelmingly high ceilings and air conditioning between the hours of 9pm and 6am. It would be nice to have the AC on for a little longer because the heat and humidity ends up waking you up early. Each bunk has a light and plug as well as... More

My room (mixed dorm) had some major construction going on so did not really like it. There was dust and random construction workers going in and out all day. Wifi works, staff are very particular here. There is no partying allowed and they are super strict about noise. At 11pm they come up to you and ask you to stay... More

Spent 3 nights at the nomadas hostel as a part of my backpacking trip this august. the hostel was clean and nice, and the pool was amazing. They offer cooking-classes and salsa dancing courses as well, which is nice. However the hostel wasn't very social, and it was not allowed to drink there, so if you have that in mind... More

Building is really old and run down - it is in desperate need of a 360 degree refurbishment. Toilets are kept real clean but the rest of the place is just dirty everywhere (won't even comment on kitchen and fridge). The beds are not really comfortable and if you get the top bunk, it is not so easy to climb... More
