Nice hotel in good proximity to the city center of Merida. Large room and bathroom, both clean. Breakfast included is okay. Parking is a paid service in the same street on a parking lot that is closed off; The Spa is not in the same building but also in the same street. We had a

The room you chose is for three people, so we decided that it was more comfortable to have the shower and toilet separated so that it could be used at the same time by different people; all our guests find it very useful. You have a piece of furniture with hooks to hang towels and clothes, right at the door of the shower, although you may not have noticed. On the other hand, the walls are masonry, it is completely impossible that you have heard noises from neighbors, since they are walls of 40 centimeters. They are houses over 100 years old and that is the material they used for its construction. It may be that at some point you have heard people talking in the passage of your room or in the breakfast area. We are a pet friendly hotel and we are very happy to have received you with your friend and your pet at the hotel. Best regards, Patricia.

While in Merida we chose Hotel Casa Carmira, largely due to its relatively high ratings and moderate price. It was very quiet and comfortable, served a good breakfast that was included in the price. The advertised pool did exist, but had no apron around it to sun. So, if you

Dear Robert, thank you very much for your review !!! Well, Casa Carmita is a hause, so the pool is so big as the hause allows... it was imposible to use the neighbour hause to make a bigger pool :-) Casa Carmita is very quiet place with only 8 rooms, ... and really this is the most important thing for us ... The pool is only for cooling during hot weather, but it is definitely not good for swimming or sunbathing. Thank you very much for your kind words and we send you greetings from Merida.

Hola Jan, We have 6 rooms: 3 with air conditioning and 3 with fan. 2 of the rooms with fan below to the colonial hause: that means that the celling are very high (4 meters). We don't have airport transfer ... you have to take a taxi to the hause. It will be around 150 pesos. If you need more information about the rooms, you can check our website de hotel casa carmita. In that site you can see the rooms because all of them are diferents ... Muchas gracias.
