We stayed at the Hacienda in April 2007, based on the other reviews from this site. This was the last part of our trip, and we were coming from the extremely touristy coast, therefore this hacienda was a great way to immerse yourself in a much more authentic Mexican city at the same time holding on to the comforts of...

My husband and I stayed with Iona and JR at their hacienda for three nights this month and it was wonderful. If you're looking for a sterile, brand-name experience, this isn't the right place for you (but then neither is most of Mexico outside of the Cancun resorts). Their hacienda is full of charm, clean, beautiful and very relaxing. The...

We just returned from a 7 day stay at Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat. It was really a great experience. The Canadian couple who operate the Hacienda are warm, welcoming and very helpful - truly a home away from home. We stayed in the Donna de San Pedro room. It was spacious, clean and modern with excellent air conditioning. The Hacienda's...

We stayed here for 3 days in early January, 2008. The Hacienda is located on the outskirts of San Pedro which is a short distance from Merida. If you would like to be near a local Mexican village with a lively central square, experience local customs (such as the ride on the motorcycle taxi), eat in small local restaurants, then...

Our family stayed 3 nights in early January and found this to be an excellent place for us despite the gritty neighborhood location. The hacienda is nicely restored but not fancy, and our kids loved the parrots, peacocks, and other animals while roaming the grounds. To see a more grand hacienda (also surrounded by a gritty neighborhood), have lunch at...

The Hacienda is located in San Pedro, a small pueblo about 20 minutes (by car) from the center of Merida. Taxi costs about $8 and there is a bus right outside the door for 50 cents that takes you right to the central bus station in Merida. The grounds are lovely. The pool is very nice and refreshing. Rooms are...

This place is amazing! Fantastic rooms, intimate privacy, wonderful grounds around the two pools. Breakfast served with the owner on the old large front porch facing into the village of San Pedro. DInner by hopping a tricycle taxi to the adjacent village Kanisay & walk trhough the lively town square of all local people to a Myan restaurant where the...

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids - ages 3 and 10 ) just returned from a 2-week holiday in Mexico. Four of those days were spent at the Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat. We were originally booked at a hotel in Merida, but decided to escape the heat and congestion for the more rural setting of the hacienda. Thank...

We booked Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat based on other TripAdvisor reviews and we were thrilled to have found it. Located on the outskirts of Merida, we were a little wary when we drove up to the property. The surrounding area looks run down and the front of the property itself looks like it's seen better days. However, when we walked...
