Good location and very grand looking entrance lobby doubling as a restaurant although the actual reception is buried away at the back close to the car park. The room was good, large and clean and with a TV but the wifi was intermittent and fairly slow. Although the staff were very friendly, there seemed to be some service issues while...

Great hotel close to the square, restaurants and bars. Large comfortable room with 2 double beds and spacious bathroom. Friendly staff. Parking on site. Beautiful old building. We would definitely go back.

I have to give a 5 star for the ambience, architecture, service and the location. My short experience at this place was way above my expection. Being to Mexico for the first time made me a bit apprehensive but the warmth shown by the staff put all my apprehension aside. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to...

Hotel SO architecturally-interesting! Staff especially helpful and friendly. Best examples were Jonathon (Jonny) who went out of his way to help us plan trips to Chichen Icha Mayan ruins, Progreso Beach, etc. This young man has good command of English, and is also learning French! Pablo at front desk also is super-attentive to guests' needs. Carlos is a mature front-desk...

Very impressive entrance; staff was friendly; we were upgraded to a suite, which was spacious; room was clean, large bathroom. Location was convenient, and for things that were a bit further, cabs were very inexpensive. Room rate was great, food in hotel restaurant mediocre at best, and pricey in comparison to other restaurants ($8.00pp for buffet). Pool area was quiet,...

This hotel is perfectly placed in order to visit beautiful Merida. Rooms and large and fully A/C, but minus a fridge to keep drinks cold. However the room does come with an ice bucket that is filled at the bar free of charge. Brits be aware tea and coffee making facilites do not seem to exist in most Mexican hotels...

Fantastic hotel. Gorgeous traditional lobby with nice artwork. Walking distance to most popular tourist attractions. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Full services including laundry, restaurant, bar, swimming pool (not heated but warm enough given the heat in Merida). Great value, I had been a bit apprehensive given the low cost of the hotel. Free coffee and chaya lemonade...

The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff have been very helpful. Not many speak English but are very patient with my spanglish. It is located conveniently close to the city center. Breakfast is fine and agree with the "not memorable" part of other reviews. Aracelly is an excellent breakfast waitress!! We are able to get the free wifi in...

We spent one night as the owners of the house we were renting came back early due to visa issues. The hotel has parking, a restaurant and meeting rooms. The front was the original colonial house while the rooms are in high towers built in the back. The desk and lobby is off of the parking lot to the side....

This is a great Hotel, the staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. In particular I would like to thank Pablo on the from desk. I arrived in Merida from Mexico City, however my outbound flight was to Miami was from Cancun. I had tried and tried, even getting Mexican friends to help me book a bus from Merida...
